I'm just wondering why she thinks she sealed her fate because you would have to have done something to say that. Hopefully nothing bad. For the most part it is not your fault if you happen to date lying men. They tell you what they think you want to hear in the beginning of a relationship, and you want to believe them because by that time you've grown strong feelings for the person. When you realize something is not right or things they tell you do not add up, you then have to start thinking, this relationship is not gonna work...just start preparing for the end. Time is an excellent friend because it slowly restores your body, mind and soul to a livable existence.

What makes Taylor different than some other singer/song writers is she tells the truth about things she has been through, no matter how awful or embarrassing...the sista tells it. A lot of us have gone through some of these same things in life, but are too afraid to talk about them. When we listen at Taylor's songs, I feel it gives us permission to speak about it to someone, anyone, it feels like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

Never ever listened to someone who sings about their vulnerabilities and struggles like Taylor Swift does. it's astonishing how others have faded into irrelevance while she managed to become this successful after more than a decade of her debut, still out selling stadiums, million selling album debuts and breaking one record after another. She is the only celebrity in the world that knows how connect with her fandom on a deep and personal level and has masterd writing meaningfully complex lyrics that resonate with many. Once her tours are done this year, I hope she takes time out of the spotlight for her family and herself, to really have that part of her life enriched by the people she trust and rely on for strength and support. In my teens I did not have a real boyfriend. Dated a couple times and that was it. In my very early twenties I got married for about 4 years. The rest of my twenties was the same as my teens. No real boyfriend and maybe went out a handful of times. Spent most of it alone. In my early thirties I met the love of my life. My best friend. My support. We married after dating just shy of a year. Many years later We are still in love, best friends and support for each other. I personally felt this song years before Taylor wrote it. Do not lose hope. The lines “Please I’ve been on my knees change the prophecy ,don’t want money just someone who wants my company, let it once be me who I have to speak to about if they can redo THE PROPHECY.” Broke my heart so much

This song got me. Not even in a “I’m so single” manner but just the prayer to change the prophecy. Being so desperate to change a circumstance in life.

"A greater woman has faith, But even statues crumble if they're made to wait, I'm so afraid I sealed my fate, No sign of soulmates, I'm just a paperweight in shades of greige, Spending my last coin so someone will tell me it'll be okay." Felt that Tay-tay😢

We'll probably keep saying it, but this is my favorite song of the album. This feels like she went back to her roots while also being more lyrically advance.

Taylor, I just wanna give you a very warm hug. Thank you for putting into words and art what a lot of us feel but only you can express. It's hurting and it's healing at the same time.

i'm so convinced everyone is just LYING and regurgitating all these made up issues with this album for likes and engagement 😭 it's soooo clear that most of these people didn't even listen to it-especially when they keep insisting that it "all sounds the same" there's so many different elements going on from piano ballads to country instruments and even her sampling her own songs (like the white horse melody in loml) TTPD is some of her best work and i truly think people will look back and cringe at themselves for unfairly bashing it

i feel this song so deeply it honestly hurts. i'm a paradox i don't want to get married or even be in a relationship so as to avoid so many fears but at the same time i do want a long term happy stable relationship/ marriage. everyone around me is married and or in relationships and i'm not. i've said my entire life i don't want that and everyone believes it lol i hide it so well. i'm not jealous and part of me still don't want a relationship but at the same time still.... but i'm not jealous of anyone and their relationships because i still do love the solitude and freedom and i don't feel alone so that's why i'm never actually bothered by it.
