I love it when people acknowlege that judging functions with the same orientation can look similar (despite being opposite processes) and thus actually compare them. Well done, as usual.

I'd say Te and Fe are only oppositional when you zoom in into just the Je realm. So if you just look at Te and Fe, then they are indeed opposites. However, other functions can be even "more opposistional" if you include more functions to look at. After all, if you have a small black stone and a small black stone, they seem the opposites of eachother. However, if you have a small black stone, a large black stone, a small white stone and a large white stone, then which are the opposites? I would say that the large black stone and small white stone are _more_ oppositional than the small black and white stones, since they contain more propherties that are opposites (both opposite in size _and_ opposite in 'color'). This same thing can be said for the functions. When just looking at the extroverted judging functions, then sure Te and Fe are opposites. However, if you include Fe and Te, then Fe and Ti contain more opposite propherties than Ti and Fi. To go even further, if you even include the perception functions in the comparison, then you could say Ti and Ne or Se are the most opposite, because they are different in both introversion/extroversion and different in being perception of judgement (which seems like a bigger difference than 2 judging funtions). It's similar to love and hate only being the opposites in the spectrum of emotions and indifference (which is basically the lack of emotion) becomes their opposite if you include states of being that are not non-emotions So in the big picture, I would not say Te and Fe are not really opposites in the big picture of typology, but rather a bit overlapping (because both are Je functions, which thus share propherties once you zoom out more) _Anyway, a whole rant that possibly no one is interested in, but it's at least a clear demonstration of what "Ti speculation" looks like_ ;)

Te is also about emotions. Emotions surrounding work. Te seeks what is effective, because they want to do unpleasant work as little as possible. And Tes keep talking about what they like doing and what not. But they have problem expressing their own emotions regarding other people. Whether positive or negative. Because Fes like to bother them immediately with their emotions about the matter. Fe are sensitive about hierarchy. Their emotions are about people making them feel insignificant/less important/less accomplished. They don't say it directly, they point out behavior of other people and judge them immoral/stupid/lazy. But what it really is about is their feeling of insignificance and inability to make decisions about their own work. Se freely express emotions about sensory stuff. They surround themselves with whatever they want, and will not accept the judgement of any kind, but will judge others, who do not abide the ethics of owing stuff (given by Si). Si must come up with reasons for owning stuff and are very analytical about it. Ne express their affinity towards ideas. Like all extroverted functions, they have no reasons for them, no research, no data to back them up. Only the fact that a lot of other people also like the idea.

So if we thought of a regular leader at work one who has a dominant fe personality and one with dominant te personality One considers the goal to be something achievable by systematic means and sets up a way for that to happen While the other considers how to build a team that works well enough together to develop whatever methods they need together to achieve that goal Both works and in a way, the best work place would be one that incorporates both these ideals

I'm an INFJ and I'm literally obsessed with MBTI (or psychology in general) . Thank you for making videos like this, I have a better vision of how cognitive functions work now! If you don't mind I'd like to give my understanding of how MBTI works (These are just my theories, so you can disagree with them). For now I only have a great idea on how the J types (How an individual deals with desions) work ( This is how I visualise it ) So Everyone has something they control/ understand how a concept works(Te/Fe) and are stuck in/ Don't understand the concept that well (Ti/Fi). -For example (Extraverted Thinkers) If you have Te, then you will automatically have Fi as a shadow function -For example (Extraverted Feeling) If you have Fe, then you will automatically have Ti as a shadow function. *This is because Te and Fe can't coexist in a person and that the two of these functions have different values that it might just can't exist together. Btw having Introverted functions (Fi and Ti) isn't a bad thing and they have their own special benefits of having them. It's just that a person needs the opposite functions to coexist with each other to make a proper working system (This is also true for Perceiving types. Ni, Ne, Si, Se). And you have hit the end of my explanation. Thanks for taking your time to read this. I love talking about this topic but My family aren't really interested in it, so it really means alot knowing someone out there is actually into this stuff and I'm not alone on this. Hope you have a great day :D

An interesting observation I repeatedly made when talking to my Fe dom girlfriend is that whenever for 1 or 2 second I look away from her when she is talking, without her knowing it herself, she starts to work towards the end of the subject we were talking about. In these cases we were talking more about a subject that was related to her, so she problably subconciously thought I was not interested anymore. However, when I mentioned that, she said she did not realise herself doing that. So that might be a good example of these social micro nuances they can pick up in other people without knowing it.

I see now that I have tertiary Fe. I’m aware of all of those things listed but I treat them like kind of a joke. I regularly go on Facebook pages run by Fe doms just to say one thing that’ll completely dismantle their argument and get a bunch of angry, hateful people revealing their true colors to me in responses. The reason people think I don’t have Fe is because I never use it positively. I’m a lifelong shit starter

The deeper I understand Te the more protective of its value I become. I am sure this is true with all cognitive functions…but when it comes to Te assume good intent. As a Te polar type I often wrongly assume that Te is out to get me…when most of the time it’s merely trying to help. Thank you for the quality content…Appreciated!

I can also say the same for my own experience with being Fe polar. I used to fear it, but it still has every right to be respected, and I use my other cognitive functions to compensate the validity of Fe so I don't just walk around this earth and unknowingly offend somebody in the room. Manners do matter. For Te polar, efficiency does matter.

In inference. Te: finding an effectual, efficient, doable and resultative way; doing expounded research to succeed; giving direction, striving make a change, to be a leader to achieve (primarily); self-assureness, contribution through giving the way; wishes might be needed to succumbed to the task; persuasive, as he knows it works; Fe: finding a sustainable, valued approach to accommodate the society; giving direction for the greater good, a nore abstract concept; more a compromiser,rather than an assidious leader; care, appreciation is higher than the result; our tasks must underpin our morals, our profound desires; persuasive, as he knows it's valuable;

One unspoken disagreement between me (INTJ) and my boss (INFJ) is that he is willing to sacrifice more output/accuracy/quality/safety for harmony while I am only willing to do that within margins of error and when those things are being adressed to reach improved levels over time. Of course we have each other's aux function (Te and Se) as blind spots too.
