@fear the mongoose official youtube place of worship This video is played in schools to children, the concept is to make it easier to digest for the children, though I'm sure your large anti-vax brain can comprehend the idea of consent it doesn't mean every child ages 11-16 should be able to understand and interpret the idea of consent at such a young age. Secondly, Covid has nothing to do with consent though it would be nice of you to keep your diseases inside, much like the STD's you probably have! Kind regards, a non-big brain associate xoxo

Fear the mongoose. Rapists learn not to rape or are expected not to and still do. The fact that consent is something that people need to learn and cant just understand is disgusting. until everyone respects each others wishes and consents, we will learn this and you will too, it is as simple as that. As for COVID-19, worldwide 2.34 million have lost their lives so are you going to tell their families it doesn't exist. And the wage gap is proved and here are the facts: Woman on average are payed 17.3% less than men Meaning women in the UK are payed 83p for every £1 a man makes Also you say 'if you don’t know what consent is people should now be drinking around you or even be f****n pals with.' (think that was the only full stop you used the entire paragraph) This is assisting to rape culture actually, though earlier you mentioned rape is wrong, you seem to have issue victim blaming. If a person doesn't understand what consent is, they should leave and not drink around people or be friends with them. That is their issue not anyone else until it is made their issue, when that person rapes someone. Consent should be taught and be the responsibility of the person to understand it. No one should be effected by one person being too ignorant to educate them self. Don't give to rape culture. 'See I didn’t need this video as a young person because I’m not a fucking psychopath!' I doubt you are but as someone who is not mentally unstable in that way, you should be able to tell that this video is a simple way to educate children on consent and respecting someones decisions. You originally replied to a comment saying 'Another to add: "If you heard that someone LOVES tea, and drinks tea a LOT, that doesn't mean they want your tea, or that you should give them your tea without them agreeing they want your tea." ' that comment is completely correct. You replied stating that it was the 'R-slur' (Also, NEVER say that word it is a slur that no one has a right to say), and that you know not to rape someone when they are sleeping or unconscious. However, Three men gang-raped an unconscious 17-year-old girl in a hotel room and posted videos of the assault on Snapchat. (Read more: metro.co.uk/2019/11/21/three-teens-gang-raped-unconscious-girl-17-on-snapchat-11196084/?ito=cbshare Twitter: twitter.com/MetroUK | Facebook: facebook.com/MetroUK/) An Unconscious girl, 16, ‘sexually assaulted by EIGHT laughing men in Facebook video. (Read more: www.thesun.co.uk/news/12568053/unconscious-girl-16-sexually-assaulted-by-eight-laughing-men-in-facebook-vid-seen-by-her-mom/) These a two very real news articles. So you may know it but obviously some do not. You then said that if you make tea and someone then says they don't want it you have every right to be angry, however this video is talking about sex. Now I don't think you have the mindset to have sex with someone when they are sleeping (You also state you're a young person, so i doubt you have the opportunity to) but either way, you have completely ignored the entire premise of the video. You then mention COVID-19 and how we are 'dumbing down our population.' but it is quite the opposite. Please educate yourself as it should not be my job to.

I'm really glad that there's people in the comments educating about CNC and force fantasies as well. 🥰 I know this video is funny and all and went viral because it was a bit bizarre, but I actually think it's a great analogy for the basics of consent! And like someone else in the comments said, with tea, you negotiate exactly how you would like the tea (whether you would like sugar, milk, how many sugars you would like, etc) and that can apply to negotiations of exactly how you would like the se*ual encounter to go, especially in k*nk situations. Also, it's considered polite to ask a person whether they even want milk in their tea, and how many sugars they would like. If you don't negotiate these details, they might not want to have your tea, because you put in your usual 8 sugars and they prefer tea without sugar, or because you put in cow's milk and they're lactose intolerant. Well, don't be surprised when they say "On second thought, I'm good. I'll just have a biscuit." And don't start pouring. If you don't trouble yourself to find out how they like their tea, you're liable to do a poor job of making the tea. I hope you feel better, Purple. No-one can ever do that to someone. Please keep that in mind, always. You're not obligated to do anything. I used to be together with someone that drank a lot, and when he was drunk, he'd do things that I hadn't given permission for either. He only knows about half of what he did, he never let me finish my explanation. He always said; 'It's mean of you to confront me with what I did when I was drunk. I was drúnk, so I was not in controll of what I did, you can't hold it against me.' And I felt stupid for bursting into tears and struggling, he kept saying the things he'd do were "jokes" and that I was overreacting and being difficult. And I kept thinking; Do other relationships 'jonkingly' get drunk and hurt each other as well?' It was like he got a kick out of cuddling me and saying; 'You're safe..you can trust me..' untill I fully trusted him. Only to suddenly whisper réálly bad things in my ear. Like "I will - " (I've removed the sentence, I don't want to trigger your PTSD. But it was about sharp objects being forced into youknow.) He'd then burst into laughter (and I into tears) and he'd go; 'Oh oh oh, it was a jóke! Calm down, ofcourse I wón't do that!" But the objects he mentioned were in the house at the time! They were right there! So eventually, the relationship went downhill, I started getting panick-attacks and vomited whenever he'd grab/grope me in the middle of the night. And eventually he was done and said I needed fixing and broke up with me. And despite the shitshow of harassment from his friends, that followed....I had never experienced such calmth before. I woke up the next day and cried out of relief. Never let anyone treat you like that, Purple. I won't let them do it to me again either.

Some people change their mind after having drank the tea - and some (not many but some) think they can blame you for them drinking the tea after they have drank it. This is why I wait until someone has gone far out of their way to make me drink their tea before I let them drink mine.

The only reason anyone would say they wanted tea when they didn't is if they were made to feel like they should/better say yes to tea.

My ex wearing down boundaries- years of Actual hour long "joke" / play emotional manipulation into me making tea for him (ACTUAL TEA, but he did the same thing with boundaries on the other sort, so I had poor tea making boundaries when I did meet some else- and they took/gained advantage from that ). "Only you can make it right, show me you love me by making me tea, ill love you forever if you make me tea, what do you mean you dont have time!!?? How could you not know i want tea, I always want tea, why did you make tea you idiot, why didnt you just KNOW I wanted tea, I don't care you are trying to study. Its 4am and i want tea, how can you NOT want to make me tea(you must not love me). Now I'm angry and I want hurt people because you fucked up my morning and it's your fault." Never offering or just Refusing to make tea for me, or even just for himself. etc etc. And yes that was also his attitude to the other sort of tea. He decided green tea (aka Asian/japanese women) where waaaay better and would remind me constantly and eventually tried some in Japan. He didnt know I knew. Any way- 2 failed attempts at drinking tea in the 10 years since I left him- and neither of them knew much about healthy tea drinking- and I didn't have good boundaries because of the cptsd around previous tea experiences. . And friends wonder why the idea of finding a guy to Have tea with is ..... horrifying

I have something that really needs to be added to this: **If you drink the tea willingly and then decide later you wish you hadn't DON'T blame the person who made it for you**
@Widdekuu91
6 жыл бұрын
+chris I agree, but let me say that if you know someone doesn't want your tea...and then they get enough alcohol and they say; 'Hm, alright' then you know they might complain the day afterwards about not having wanted your tea. If someone's making faces throughout the tea-drinking and says; 'Erm' you can stop giving them tea as well. People that genuinely drink tea at someone's place and then purposely blame the guy for making it, even though they were sober and aware and said; 'YES' and never stated they wanted to stop drinking tea...yés, those people are wrong and they need to hear your statement Chris.
@chris1275cc

Widdekuu91 Yes BUT what if neither of you want Tea but then BOTH of you get a lot of alcohol and then both willingly drink the tea BUT when you both sober up one of you wishes they didn't drink it? And how do you distinguish between the often strange and sometimes pained looking 'Tea' drinking face that they always pull while enjoying Tea and their "I don't like this Tea" face? What if one person drinks the the Tea because they are afraid of the other person BUT the other person does not realise they are afraid of them because they have not knowingly given them any cause to be afraid and believes they are drinking the Tea willingly? AND WHAT IF I PREFER COFFEE???? Maybe we should collaborate on a new video: *Consent: It's as complicated as fuck!* Or even better *Consent: For fuck sake get it in writing*

chris1275cc Consent is not complicated. You either have it or you don’t.
@randomweirdo2701
5 жыл бұрын
@@chris1275cc consent is complicated by real or imagined power differentials influencing either party. There's always an implied power differential between men and women due to male privilege and ingrained societal misogyny. This is why you see the complexity and that other person doesn't. Good on you for noticing and trying to do the right thing instead of taking advantage like so many other men. For the safety of all involved it's therefore best practice not to have tea with vastly older or younger people than oneself or people that are one's student, medical patient, in a subordinate position due to political authority or in one's place of employment, or of a lesser mental status than oneself. It's also nice to have conversation before tea. If the person agrees to everything you say, that's a red flag. They may be threatened by you for some reason. They may come from a culture where saying no is taboo. It's safer to let them ask for tea if they want it even if that means you go home and make yourself tea.
