I thanked him because of him I passed that class with the highest grade I ever had in math. Actually his class was my favourite. We as students knew he loved religion and would almost always asked him about it.

My 12th grade history teacher didn't dress up himself, but helped us dress up and put on little acts for our assignments which made me live history even more. That made me decide to get a BA in Secondary Social Studies Ed. I decided later I'm better at working with the younger kids, but I still use that knowledge when subbing in a class with a history lesson that day. I love being able to add in a little extra fun fact that's not in their book since I had such great professors in college as well. I also let kids act out stories as I'm reading them to the class. It's a lot of fun for them and me 😃

@@marys2035 Hi Mary, I love this educational experience you had. The teachers who are innovative, creative, and who truly love educating students are always the most admired and most effective. I come from long line of teachers. When my 97 year old grandmother passed, many of her students, some in their 70s, attended her funeral describing how positively she impacted their lives. At my mom's funeral, a 60+ year old came in and all he said was "in 7 years the school system couldn't teach me to read. Your Mom had me reading in 6 weeks. Because of her I became a successful businessman." Good teachers are so impactful!! Love your positive story!!!🙏❣
