What is wrong with your 300prc to be shooting groups that big? Seems like you have a serious issue there.

Nice shooting. I'm trucking across the prairies in Canada today and it's flat. Seriously, flat 16km to the horizon and no trees. All I can think about is long range shooting.

Second shot with the 300 PRC Damien flinched that’s why it shot to the right. But he did exceptionally well for a first timer. He’ll never forget his first time shooting the 300 PRC that’s for sure.

"Are you chewing gum!?" WTF! Gnashing your jaw muscles against the stock will not help. And don't wrap your thumb around the grip. Keep it above your finger knuckles...that MDT chassis should have a right side thumb rest. Nice to have a precision 22 to practice with...my practice here is $2.00/round. Just kidding...you did really well on that 500 meter target. It's like potato chips....you can't eat just one.

Hey Pieter, I've been watching your videos for a while and am finally ready to start building a dedicated competition/target rifle. I'm wanting to go 6.5 PRC but can't decide between Tikka or Howa. I have an original Tikka T3 in 308 that I have been hunting with for years and absolutely love it. In your experience, which would make a better, more accurate rifle?

Hey, which rifle did u end up using for long range precision? I’m in the same predicament and leaning towards getting a Tikka T3X CTR as my first bolt rifle for long range. Buddy of mine doing the Howa B/A Chassis build.

I have a question what can I do to spot impacts at 200 yards with a 10lbs 300 winmag rifle? I am shooting off a bench but I prefer prone. When I shoot off the bench the rifle jumps hard and can never spot my impacts.

Hey guys. I know US still have their fd up imperial system 😂 but in the metric world usually (aren't you from down under?) you use the world kilo for 1kg. Not 1km... Nobody would say I need to run 5 kilos today...if he doesn't mean to lose weight from his last week spent at McDonald's 😂😂😂 Just say kilometer, because kilo is not much cooler as a word 😅

I think once you watch the video you will have some good pointers for your student. On the 300 PRC he was closing his eyes. On the other guns he was very good on the trigger when he knew you were watching but look at the video when you were not watching. Always a wonderful time when introducing a new person to shooting sports. Thanks for sharing.

Enter NRA Long-Range Competition. It’s sling supported competition, which demands greater marksmanship development than that demonstrated here. What’s shown here does not account for a muscularly relaxed NPA snd thus shooter/target analysis is difficult. In other words the shooter cannot distinguish error from wind from position error.
