Hartsel to Salida was a lesson in enormous rollers and arid terrain. Although Colorado does have its forest make no mistake the terrain is arid. Toni had the go pro for this stage and the descent down Cameron pass was spicy, so no high speed footage. It was nice after traversing the desert expanse to reach the tree line and finally enjoy the luxury of shade. After two days of enormous expanses and enormous views it was a treat to climb into the tree line and drop into Salida.
