This is so funny, I finished my build this year and my girlfriend and I were camping in it for the 1st time in Taylors Falls, MN this same day!

Awesome. Interestingly enough, it was the coldest weekend until December. :)

Use an aluminum water shield over the doors that bend with the radius on both ends to deflect the water at all times, sitting still or driving.

Do they make that commercially? That'd be great if there was a product I could put on that would take care of that annoying issue.

@@IdRatherMakeItMyself-Net yes . Google tear drop camper door drip rail. It came up instantly.

Hello, greetings from Germany, why not install an aluminum bracket over the doors that looks like a small awning! Best Regards,

Yeah, someone else suggested that as well. I may have to see if that's what I want to do.

Not sure yet. Certainly nothing as big as the camper. I have a couple of smaller woodworking projects I need to do and I haven't carved anything all summer. We'll see. :) Thanks for the comment.

I think you may have the door windows upside down, usually you lift them up to open, not slide them down?

Nice project but camping in general is more like torture than recreation to me 😂 .. and doing it in the winter - no way ‘bro.

Hi Mark ... I'm looking for a couple of those triangular two-piece vents to put in my teardrop ... can you tell me where you got them or the brand name? Thanks!

I bought them off of Amazon. If you search for "aero design trailer side air vents" you should be able to find them.

@@IdRatherMakeItMyself-Net thank you! I don't have a roof vent/fan & I'm not crazy about the idea of dying while tucked in tight!
