Hi ChargerLab and thanks for the teardown and your comprehensive introduction to all the components. Quality video as always. The Anker looked well designed as a compact charger with a battery bank. Individual components are well laid out and being a hybrid, it’s very convenient. Thumbs up and welcome back !! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Thank you for sharing your wisdom, I don't understand at all what each chipset you are pointing out is, but I can appreciate the general understanding you express in familiarity of to a linear logical perspective of utility. I recently bought one of these since I had to upgrade my phone to a USB c style charging device, and it is impressive how far along portable charging has come. I'm sure it will keep becoming more efficient in the future, but I have a feeling that realistic capacity has in a way peaked. What I mean is, there can only ever be so much energy transmitted through a specific diameter of mass as far as wires and chip communication goes, but the chips themselves will end up smaller and requiring less energy in the way of inefficiencies to process the general needs of computing power than the bulk of humans can handle. I really appreciate yours ability to deconstruct a product that to me cost $75 on black friday. As somsone who used 10kmah anker batteries for almost a decade, and has only lost one out of three, I am very happy with where the technology has cone. Particularly because I am a learning digial artist, who recently took a career position that requires me to be on call and manage multiple properties. This charger, along with a 40kmah anker bank am able to increase the longevity of my energy bank invesment for the next decade due to the smart charge hardware to prevent heat issues at higher voltages. I will be utilizing the trickle charge more often during times such as charging over night. The best part about this new class of smart charging, is I recently bought a meLE quieter3c fanless computer which can be charged from a USB c pd cable. I also bought a Huion 16" pen display for practicing digital art. This combo essentially creates a portable laptop that has a professional grade digital art tablet that I can use anywhere. That is the cutting edge of technology today, being able to draw fairly accurately on screen with a 4 core computer for a total of 25watts, which works perfectly with the new line of battery technology.

Seems like it has a lot of stuff inside. Does it mean it really is a high quality stuff? Justifying its $100 price tag?

@@veganpotterthevegan had it for a couple of months now mate, it really is just fine product. What makes it expensive is the GAN tech still new to the market at that time. Cheers

I wish they would make these things more serviceable like the 747 one if you could replace the batteries that would make these things last a lot longer

Honestly the most disappointing part of this product is how they have different output depending on whether it's plugged to the wall (portable charger mode vs wall charger mode)

Providing 65 W on power bank mode would cause a significant strain to the cells, don’t you think?

There are other powerbanks than can even do 100W, you just need the right cells and the right amount of cells

@@PatrickHavilah true but they are going for size since it need to be able to plug into a wall. A giant power bank would probably have trouble lot only fitting into a power stop but might not support itself well

I mean im looking strictly at this product for convenience of it being able to just plug into a wall and charge then take away to charge just one smart phone. For that it seems perfect.

For a phone yes, but some laptops won't even charge at such low power
