I love the humor 😂 but a jeep towing a teardrop does not get better mpg than a sprinter. Good advertising! 😊

Instead of seeing them as mutually exclusive, the two can work in tandem. For instance, during bad weather everyone can hangout inside the van.

Can’t lie if I could afford it I would tow the tear drop with the van.

Let's be honest. A converted Sprinter... essentially a mini motorhome. They've been around for decades. They are fine for anyone who plans to keep to highways or well maintained forest roads. They are severely restricted by height clearance. Teardrop designed for off-road use is in a completly different league. Other teardrop advantages: It can follow a 4x4 tow vehicle darn near anywhere and left as a base camp. Unlike a stuck motorhome, a teardrop can be disconnected and pulled out of trouble by the tow vehicle. We 4x4 tent camped for 40 years, retired then bought a Land Rover and off-road teardrop. No way a Sprinter or Mini-Winnie would go where we go. That said, the right Sprinter setup can be great for hauling a motorcycle and surf boards. I've seen a lot of them.

This is absolutely correct. I have a 4x4 sprinter built out. It's good for forest roads and some slippery dirt roads but is not going to follow that jeep and bean around.

Even tho this clip was designed as a marketing tool, it is 100% true, teardrop beats up a van on all aspect of camping in nature, van are only good for road trip

Plus, if you have mechanical issues with your van, you loose your camping space.

Compare a teardrop camper versus a ram pro master conversion ? 45k? I'll pass!

I wouldn't be driving a Italian Fiat junk Jeep or an overly expensive German Mercedes Benz. Give me a reliable Subaru or Toyota any day. The Bean trailer with the full fiberglass shell is the best. Subaru crosstrek sport along with a Bean stock 2.0 would be approximately $45,000 together brand new.

Cute video. Relevant for FAIR weather camping. But what about the rest of the year in the northern latitudes of this country. I'd rather be in a simple AWD van buildout or a lightweight 4x4 truck camper. Or maybe a different type of Bean trailer altogether. 36 degrees and rainy doesn't look like this. And 30-45K for a summertime camp toy is...steep. Your Bean Stalker is heading in the right direction, but still too opulent for the value prop, and no 4-season heater. A bigger marketplace out here doesn't have the sunny, dry Utah desert at its back door. Think 4-seasons, Bean! Then you'll capture my heart and my wallet!

We have lots of people who live in their Bean trailers from Alaska to Florida. They turn their awning onto an enclosed tent for extra space. Our trailers have both a heating and AC option. I am pretty sure Utah has 4 seasons; at least it has in the 30 years I have lived here. Our owners take their trailers out in winter conditions and to places a van will never go.
