You can run the car without the MAF and it’ll run off of a preset mixture, AKA should run smoothly if it actually is the MAF causing your issue. My guess is you might have a big ass vacuum leak and the car is over compensating with fuel causing the rich condition. Smoke tester may be the move, how does it drive otherwise?

When I first got the car I unplugged maf and it ran the same, I haven't tried it again since the repairs. When driving the car feels great and surprisingly fast, it didn't give me an issues once I got going only on idle

@@chacebarnes01 you make any progress at this point? i'm also troubleshooting idle issues, have camshaft sensors on the way but I literally already got done removing and putting the intake manifold back on to clean the TBs and ICV... dreading having to do all that again, those clamps on the TBs are such a pain. anyway, I'm worried the cam sensors won't do the trick even after all that work - you find any solutions to yours?

Jealous of the Dinan TB kit, those are crazy big money new. Also, I believe it's pronounced "die-nuhn" just for reference!

Possibly bad o2 sensor. Is your coolant temp sensor reporting correctly?

I believe so, I've only driven the car twice. Stays in the middle
