firstly, dude... you are a generational talent. insane.... so many of us dont even play base but are addicted to your content. Secondly, PLEEEEEEEEEASE do "Snow" by red hot chilli peppers. The song is NOTORIOUSLY hard to play on guitar at the right tempo and for as long as John Frusciante does. Seeing it on bass with your added pizzaz would be incredible! EDIT: I liked my own comment, everyone else that agrees, may I please ask that you so the same. As in like _my_ comment. Not your own.

Charles…I’m an old dude who still says Jaco is the greatest bassist of all time…but I know that’s just subjective nostalgia talking (imagine being a 16 yo bassist and hearing Jaco’s first solo album when it first came out!)…the fact is, you have taken ahold of everything that he pointed to and have carved out a niche occupied by only yourself! You truly stand alone…at the top…my hat’s off to ya mate!

@coleavis2150 Eh, I played piano first, then guitar, then bass, then violin, now I'm learning a flute 🤷 A D3 is a D3 no matter what you're playing. If you know how scales, arpeggios, and chord progressions work it does not take long to learn an instrument/song. The worst part is adjusting to the different techniques and hand placements. Regardless of what someone can play- a lot can be done in a studio using equipment and I'm fairly certain if *I* can compose "not too bad" music, he can absolutely do better.

I severed the top half of my left thumb(fret hand) in a job site accident about ten years ago. My index, middle fingers and what was left of my thumb was seized up for a year and a half before I regained any mobility in them, and as a result I had serious issues playing my bass for longer than 15 or so minutes without it being extremely painful. Watching your videos, and remembering how much fun it is to jam, has inspired me to start playing again. Thanks for being awesome.
