Tennille, I just wanted to thank you for talking about endometriosis. I am now 71 years old and I wished I had someone like you talking about this problem 50 years ago. No doctor would listen to me of how much pain I was in all the time. So please women of color please keep telling the doctors how you feel and do all the testing they need to find this problem so that you are pain free. It's not in your head. Thank you so much !!!

I had one because of fibroids and menorrhagia. I bled for a whole year prior . I had no energy. I was losing too much blood. So I had a full hysterectomy which was the best thing I could have done.

Hi Tennille, thank you so much for sharing your story. Sharing your story helps women like myself who are ashamed to talk about it. I had a partial hysterectomy which made me keep this experience to myself because I thought it was kind of shameful to talk about. I had the same experience as you did, couldn't wrap my head around what was going on. I went to my gynecologist and he told me I had endometriosis and that is how I discovered it. I was young at the time and didn't know what to do. I had children, knew I didn't want anymore so the best thing for me to do was to get a partial hysterectomy. I was emotionally confused after the surgery and questioned if I did something wrong, had a feeling of regret. After awhile, I started to feel better and realized having the surgery was the best thing I did. Having no more cycles is the best experience I've ever had! I really appreciate you sharing your story.

Thank you tennile for taking about this important subject, I am going through the perimenopause and even though I don't have endometriosis, I have fibroids and is a breast cancer survivor. So talking about women's health and hormones, especially with family is very important, so you don't feel alone.

Thank you for this… I’m 51 and had a hysterectomy mainly because of polyps but after the dr got in there he saw that I had a horrible cause of endometriosis and adenmyosis and a fibroid that the ultrasound didn’t pick up. I had to mourn that season that I was no longer in but lord does it feel physically good not having cramps, heavy bleeding and fearing the dr finding more polyps and removing them in the office with no pain meds😫and realizing I don’t have to plan my life around my period….freedom

This is my story almost verbatim.. with the cyst my appendix was stuck to my uterus. The doctor said he only found one fallopian tube because the other one was entangled with the endometriosis. The best decision is that full hysterectomy.

Hey Sis, Thanks for your continued bravery in sharing your story. I resonate with it so well! It is so comforting to know that I'm not alone. I remember commenting on your first video about endometriosis because I connected instantly with your experience. Interestingly enough as I was waking up this morning with a little discomfort, I thought of your old video which led me back to your channel to see how you were doing not knowing that I would find a new video with you sharing your journey again. Please keep sharing because it is not something that most people understand whether they are personally dealing with it or not. It's hard to put language to it when doctors don't fully understand and definitely difficult to cultivate a lifestyle that supports your healing when others around you (Family, Friends, Work, etc.) can't even BEGIN to get it. Like you, I'm on the otherside of the debilitating pain I was experiencing but the journey is far from over because of the changes to the body following a hysterectomy and the fact that there is no cure for endometriosis so the possibility still remains that it can continue to grow. Whereas I am grateful to see improvement in my life, it is still an ongoing journey as it is requiring unconventional lifestyle changes to maintain and constantly improve my health. Changes that not only affects the physical but the Mental too. I'm not a big social media person so I don't have a lot of contact handles to drop in this comment LOL, but I would love an opportunity to talk to you more about this subject. I'll see if you have contact information and reach out. It would be great to have a space with ongoing recommendations of natural solutions that have been proven to be helpful in this journey. After all, we are all in this together! Stay Blessed!

I had a myomectomy and a hysterectomy. My life was a mess. Everyday for 7 years I bled. My florist surgery remove for tumors. Two weeks later the bleeding started all over again and I had to go back into the hospital to have 25 more tumors that they found behind my uterus. I know where you're coming from girlfriend. I would like to celebrate not having to deal with that mess that made my life not worth living. I tried to commit suicide two times during this episode. I just want to say you go girl I know how bad and painful your life can be. Nobody knows better than me how horrible it can be. I celebrate with you.

I had fibroids and was told I should have a hysterectomy because I was in my mid 40's. After much research, I finally got an invasive procedure called UFE. My symptoms were abnormal periods using extra large pads. Well, happy to announce that was all in the past. No more heavy periods! I would also advise anyone to research, research, research!

I need one but lack insurance right now. My Premenstrual pain is very bad for me plus I have fibroids. I feel very heavy on both of my sides during Premenstrual, very fatigue, nausea, and I feel pressure when I have to urinate or have a #2 during pms. I get weak too and all this is during PMS not even my period yet. It also makes me anemic and I have to wonder what is causing me the fatigue even before my period comes in. I feel like I have a slight protrusion too on my stomach area and a very tender back. Also my periods are now anywhere from every 23 to 25 days and I hate it. That's like every two weeks. When I was younger it was every 28 days and I could track it. I can't wait because I am miserable..it used to give me terrible mood swings too but with diet and herbal tea I manage my moods..I can still get very emotional and sad but before l used to get so angry and irritable 😢

Hello, I am 32 and I have had painful periods since I was in like 8th grade when I started my period. A few months ago I had a fibroid and my gynecologist wanted to see me back again to see if it was an actual fibroid or due to women stuff that happen when we get our period. I searched KZitem I found a person in India that said broil two cups of water then add ginger, tumeric, oregano and pepper. I did it for two weeks. When I went for the ultrasound she told me it had busted and I had a painful period also. I am sure it was the herbs because never in my life did I have a painful period. I told myself after that herbs are my friend. I do try and limit processed food but when I know I period is about to come on I do straighten up and do that herb tea concoction. I am still having pain free periods till this day.
