Thanks for the review, I have these now. Absolutely fantastic sound, I know because I have tested a Bayer 1990 Pro, you will definitely like this sound, it's balanced and there is sub base as said when there is on a track. Very comfortable and the Anc is very good. I can also confirm after a few hours of use the bass improved where I really don't need any eq, best eq is a third party 10band one, only use slight bass boost sometimes. This is a sleeper headphone as said by someone on another channel. The app is good as well.

Thanks for the excellent review, can I ask whether you noticed any added reverb as others who review this says, as I am on the fence between the Sony 5 and this, also is this more comfy?, I care more about sound quality and the anc according to others is very close to the sony 5?,not bothered about transparency. Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback 👍, I didn't notice this myself. I found these slightly more comfy. And I preferred the sonic performance of these over the Sony.

I've already tried all the settings, updated the firmware and it still has that extremely annoying buzzing sound when I turn on noise cancellation, it's like reverb. It's a real shame, because when it comes to Technics I expected a lot more. Thanks for sharing your time Gavin.

thank you Gavin, couple of questions plz, do they have any sub bass unlike Sonys and is the sound better than the DSP generated sound of the Apple Max, think Audiophile (not a big fan of that term) but hopefully you know what I mean sortof
@GavinsGadgets

You can add the bass with the EQ. It has sub bass only if the track has it. Definitely more audiophile than the apple max.

@@GavinsGadgets excellent, I don't care if it dosent have the best ANC or transparency, as for phone calls Zoom will handle most shortcoming plus I alway have my Airpod Pros with me. I just want a travelling HP with reasonable to good tonality, detail etc, I.e. not the Sony XM4/5. WONDER HOW IT COMPARES TO Sennheiser momentum. 3 true wireless, I wish I HAD BOUGHT those when I got my XM4'S

Burn-in method how does affect the sound? I bought it, but the sound signature is too warm and dark compared to the AZ60. The high-bass boost is dominating, and the low bass is definitely rolled off. Everything else is outstanding, build quality, design, ANC, ambient mode, but unfortunately the sound is atrocious for me. :(

This Panasonic Technics A800 has very good sound and ANC and it's general volume and bass volume is much stronger and powerfull compared to Sony MX4 or Bose QC45. But to listen my favorite music genre electronic music and techno i prefer to use the Panasonic RB-M700B because they have somethning the A800 and other expensive head phones on the market does not have at the moment: A Bass reactor vibration system ! I really love the bass reactor vibration system very very very much !!!! It feels like you have a 2.1 subwoofer hifi system. Panasonic Technics A800, Sony MX4, Bose QC45 feels more like an 2.0 weak bass hifi system without any subwoofer. For a very very very noisy ambient or music without any bass (for example old music) the A800 is the best. So I change my headphones depending on the situation. I use public transportation and have a very noisy neighbor that is the reason I own the Technics A800 and the Bose QC45 (only to watch TV and video games but not music). For music I use my 3 pairs of Panasonic RB-M700B. I hope Panasonic will continue to offer and develop headphones with bass reactor vibration system because I can't listen to techno and electronic music on head phones without a bass reactor anymore. The sony Sony MDR-XB950N1 Extra Bass head phones from 2017 have a bass reactor vibration system (my first head phones i had with a bass vibration system) but the new Sony WHXB910NB Extra Bass from 2021 don't has a bass vibration system anymore imo.
