This is the nicest apartment I've seen on this channel so far. In terms of interior design, it has all the elements I like: sleek lines that emanate minimalist elegance, bright white walls that give off a feeling of newness and freshness, creamy, light -colored wooden floor and doors that create a calm and warm atmosphere, furniture that further elevates the aesthetic appeal of the apparent - every piece of furniture, from the mahogany bedframe, the gray sofa and black glass dining table in the living area, to the wooden dining table set in the dining area, is stylish and elegant. If I am going to make one change, I would change the dining table set into solid black wood - but keep the style. In terms of floor plan, the floor plan of this apartment is not ideal, but fine with me. I particularly like how you can use your smartphone to open the door, private security code, or a card. Any of these methods is more secure than a key. However, I am a bit concerned about the downside of the technology demonstrated in this video. It sets the alarm clock, opens the curtains in the morning, adjusts the temperature inside the apartment, turns on the lights when the occupant comes home, turns off the lights before she goes out or goes to sleep, fills her bathtub for her when she is still riding the train so that she can take a nice bath immediately upon coming home -- all of these functions remind me of Amazon's Voice Assistant, Alexa. Those are the kinds of things Alexa can do for users. It was not demonstrated in the video, but Voice Assistants like the one shown in this video and Alexa can check weather for users or search for answers on the Internet that users don't want to do themselves. In short, it handles mundane tasks. All those benefits come with the risk of having your privacy potentially be intruded. Because the device is designed to take commands in from the sound of a user's voice, it is intended to be always recording. Therefore, it can record your conversations without your consent. The staff at the company that made the device will listen to the recorded conversations for what they called research purposes. To limit the chance that the device may record your intimate conversations, it should never be put in intimate places such as the bedroom or bathroom. In the U.S., some people even empathetically declared that they would never use a Voice Assistant due to privacy concerns. Given the risks, I personally would rather do away with the Voice Assistant. Thanks for sharing!
