I am 😭. This is my first Mother’s Day without my Queen Mama! Yet, in the midst of my sorrow, I know Jesus is the Comforter. Matthew 5:4 Jesus, thank you for giving me a mother who showed me who you are by the way she lived her life! She knew that love is a verb and not just a noun. My Queen Mama, enjoy beholding Jesus’ face. I will see you again when I get to heaven! 🙌🏾🙏🏽

Sang this in the choir in the 50’s. Never realized how powerful the message it is until recently (2022). There is NO sorrow on this earth (physical or relational) that God cannot heal, if we will just believe His promises. There are over 7,000 promises in the Word of God. Which ones will we believe?

Beautiful, there is so sorrow, or trouble that God can’t get us through. The pain of death He’s our comforter. The Healer of all our diseases. No hurt He can’t heal. What an awesome God we serve🫶🏽🙌🏽

Come ye disconsolate, where'er ye languish your mind. Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel; Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish, Earth, oh, has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Here speaks the Comforter, Tenderly say, saying that Earth, oh, has no sorrows That heaven cannot heal. Earth has no sorrows That heaven cannot heal. If you can have it, God can heal it, If there's a void, God can fill it. If you can have it, God can heal it, If there's a void, God can fill it. If you can have it, God can heal it, If there's a void in your life, God can fill it. If you can have it, God can heal it, If you can't have it, oh God can. God can heal it, yes, He can. God can heal it, oh, God can. God can heal it, God can heal it, God can heal it, oh God... Earth has no sorrows That heaven cannot heal.

It is a song that is/was sung at funerals and disasters! It is a song that our parents sung a lot when they were in disparity. It is not sung as much by this generation as it was in our past! As much as it sounds sad, it actually is an encouraging song to succor your heart!

I was looking for Seventh-day Adventist hymns with themes of elements of the sanctuary. The study of the heavenly sanctuary is the central pillar of belief for all our other beliefs found in the sanctuary: God’s Ten Commandments found in the “ark of his testament,” the faith of Jesus that enabled him to say, “I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love,” especially the seventh day sabbath which is a sign of “a perpetual covenant,” the gift of prophecy known as the “testimony of Jesus,” the ultimate destiny of man is death which our Lord took for every man, so that the ultimate destiny of man is the second advent of Christ to resurrect the righteous dead, and finally, the three messages of each of the respective angels is to make every soul in this generation fit for translation. We have seven hymns: 123 As with gladness men of old, 177 Jesus, your blood and righteousness, 417 O solemn thought, 459 As the bridegroom to his chosen, 477 Come, ye disconsolate, 496 Eternal love we have no good, and 527 From every stormy wind. The word “mercy seat” appears nine times. Ark appears twice. Cherubim is mentioned once. Golden altar is used one time. Altar is used once. Censer is used once. The word place is used 75 times in our hymnal but you can use it only one time in the context of the sanctuary. Altar is used ten times and the plural altars twice but I found it is used once in the context of the sanctuary service. I was looking for videos showing artists how they sang earth song. I am glad I stumbled upon this version. Each artist is a true virtuoso of his craft. Kudos to the musicians and vocalists.
