Omg, I can so relate.. I’m in uk and I had a bowel perforation, but due to preexisting mental health issues, they didn’t believe I was ill.. they refused any scans and tried to send me home.. my friends fought to keep me in, I got iller and iller, I knew I was dying, I was in a hospital, yet I wasn’t believed.. it was on day 5 of the perforation, I vomited faeces and they finally realised and ran me into theatre,, by then I had septic shock, they had to give me a colostomy, and then put me in an induced coma.. they didn’t think I would survive, they got my friend to say goodbye and turn off the life support but I survived.. I came very close to having hands and feet amputated as they turned black..I was in hospital for months, then rehab to learn how to walk again. What I’ve been left with 10 years on, is severe illnesses , adrenal insufficiency, rhumetoid arthritis. I had the bag removed but I’m left with double incontinance, and I lost so much at 40, including hope of a relationship.. I also have severe ptsd from the negligence, the hospital covered their backs so I couldn’t sue, it was only once the statue of limitations was up did I get a formal apology.. I live a very isolated life now, I’m glad to have survived but I lost a lot.. I have no family, and life is a massive struggle.

I had an enormous benign uterine fibroid, the size of a grapefruit at least, plus a few the size of oranges, causing my abdomen to bulge unattractively, and adding weight to my small frame and narrow pelvis, but no bleeding, and nothing painful, so I chose to keep, and live with the fibroids, until when, after menopause, all of my uterine fibroids completely disappeared, and my stomach flattened out appreciably, and my stomach stays flat with my prebiotic/probiotic regimen, and essentially, I consume 2,000 IU of vegan vitamin D plus 100 mg of Vitamin K2 as fermented chickpea MK- 7 with a fatty meal every single day for both immunity and bone health, and space intake of calcium products in my diet throughout the day. 67% of sepsis patients are found to be deficient in vitamin D.

You never really think it is as bad as it really is at first because you do not know what the symptoms of Sepsis are until you get it and I thought I had a cold or something like that but now I know what the symptoms are.

I need really think why me because you just have to figure out how to live with it and it is what it is now and I cannot change it. Physical therapy helped me a lot but I needed a lot of it and it is really tough at first. I found out that having the right equipment to help me do things helps a lot and I keep trying to find new ways to do things now. I think we have to be happy to be alive because a lot of people have Sepsis and do not survive.
