September historically proved to be one of the most volatile months for stocks. With this uncertainty looming, I'm at crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $250k portfolio and get back in after the election, or should I buy more stocks in a promised bullish October?

imho, everyone needs a sort of advisory service in order to achieve an optimal portfolio these days, times are uncertain now

I agree, over 50 years of data reveals that those who work with financial experts typically earn more than those who do it alone. I've been fortunate enough to utilize an advisor for 4years now, resulting in a 7 figure portfolio after 100s of thousands invested so far.

I've shuffled through a few advisors in the past, but settled with ''Katherine Nance Dietz'' You'd most likely find her basic info on the internet, she's well established with over two decades of experience.

Thank you Ted. You are one of the most sensible advisors I’ve heard in the business. And you’re right about the proliferation of “wealth advisors”. I’m not currently in stocks because frankly the market scares the heck out of me for a number of reasons. Probably because I’ve lived through down markets through the past four decades. As well as stock buy backs and passive investing, which I feel artificially impact pricing considerably. The only way for people to take profits is to eventually sell. The tipping point can’t be far away.

For the Newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's sad truth. I remember when i just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 i ended up selling it because i have lost alot trading all by myself without a guide. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with $100k and I'm up with $732k in a short period of time. Thanks to Seren Wintersun.

I initially did the big ticket buy, 125k into SCHD, 75k TSLA, 25k VYM, 25K VUG. Now I'm dca buying roughly 2k every week of whatever is on sale, and looking to add more tech positions to my portfolio. I'm looking to hold long term 15 - 20 years, so hopefully my lump sum buy in doesn't bite me in the ass long term.

In the past month, my "unexciting" index funds provided me with over $6,000 in dividends, giving me the option to spend without selling shares. Currently, I've opted to reinvest the dividends to acquire additional index funds for future growth.

I agree; I have approximately $1m in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, having a portfolio-advisor for investing is genius!

Thank you Ted. Love your tone and knowledge/wisdom. This presentation gives me some confidence in what I’m doing. I control about 35% of our invested assets biased to the out of favor assets you mention, multiple pm’s/oil service and oil with dividends/pm miners etc…/various shipping/oil & gas/uranium. This is offset by our advisor who has a lot of the mainstream investments you mention but monitors yield curves, trades some to reduce risk and participates in bonds very similar to how you described. Good explanation of how the money flows may occur over the next 1-5 years. You may agree that you want to be right with the market but what those market conditions will mean for most Americans is sobering.

It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days

How long do you think the US can continue down the road of spending + inflation before something breaks? It's obvious that neither candidates will default or do massive cuts... so I wonder how long this whole scheme is gonna last, kind of worried as the US is my #1 market where I sell goods.

interest is payment for risk. gold being money, carries no risk. that's why it pays no interest. your currency, being a money substitute, does not maintain its purchasing power over time and, therefore, pays interest to hold it. it's that simple.

Please explain the difference between free trade and fair trade especially in light of government supported economies, currency manipulations, slave labor and environmental and safety regulations that don't exist anywhere to the extent they do in the US. The US Chamber of Commerce line on tariffs is funny. Pendulum has to swing back if only for nat sec reasons. We understand how tariffs work. We understand how foreign govt subsidies, labor laws and industrial policies work too. You sold us down the river, made your money. Now it's time to fix that. Go vote for Bush or Jeb!. Party is over. So is your cheap gardening labor. Besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, I enjoyed your presentation.
