Thank you! I love this stuff. Boxing me fighting videos focus so much on tactics, techniques, and procedures involved, but rarely the thoughts and feelings involved. It’s like they focus 80% of their energy on 20% of the problem. Teddy doesn’t do that. I don’t know him personally but from his content I can tell he puts his focus on what matters more in a fight, the fight between the ears.

I think most people kind of know that though. They just don't necessarily know how to go about developing mental habits. I mean, most media for sports isn't score sports psychology. It's about looking muscular. 😂😂Ripped, man, you gotta be ripped.😂

I think it's called "awfulizing"(?), where you think of future events in decidedly negative ways all the time. Probably lots of people deal with it every day, and it's easy to get bummed out pretty fast when it's all you can see. And maybe some people want to be right about what they're thinking, so it comes true and the loop starts all over. Figuring out how to break the patterned thinking might help i dunno.

@@levelupclub6387 Oh OK. Can you tell I'm not a shrink? 😂 So, repetitive catastrophe in short time windows can happen and I think it creates like a rut, and then the negative thoughts can spin in it, right? Thing is: there just thoughts. Positiven or negative, humans are egotistical enough to put a lot more importance on them than maybe they deserve. Myself included. 😜😂 Take it easy :)

@@PhoenixProdLLC so it is basically when you always assume the worst will happen. For example you're late for work and you convince yourself your boss will punish you severely or your partner is late for dinner and you assume they're cheating. Hope that helps!

This is so true. But the good part is for me at least once I'm walking out to ring and step inside the fear disappears and training takes over. It's just energy which actually helps you in the fight.
