Male or female, if we live long enough we all eventually feel loss. The best that we can hope for is for it to be at the end of a long fulfilling life. Eventually there will come another day when you can smile, and eventually one where you can laugh and love again as you once did. Every woman makes you a different person, and it is the same for them. No one in a relationship is unchanged, and that is the thing to remember and look forward to.

Would be beautiful if you could check out Elephant by Jason Isbell! Or If We Were Vampires by the same man.

Yes to these songs. They are both fantastic. Even though they have a dark underbelly.

I am surprised that you hadn't heard him before. I really enjoy his cover of this song and he has an excellent sound for this one and he obviously planned it out in detail. He has a very deep selection of covers and some hit it out of the park while others are okay but not great. I will be waiting to hear your reaction. Love your channel. Another song to check out is Haley Reinhart, "Lay it down". It's just her and an organist. Impressive.

Great reaction! Great song! So glad I found yr channel. If you want to hear a great voice form the late 70s/early 80s, try Robert Gordon's version of "It's Only Make Believe." He could really raise the roof!!

Teddy Swims singing is so effortless it conceals an amazing level of precision and depth. Seems like there is something new to enjoy and appreciate every time I hear him sing this song. Thank you for such a delightful and specific commentary on style and technique.

Somehow I am reminded of Joe Cocker, a calmer, much more sober Joe Cocker.
