On Saturday, October 28th, 2023, Teel Auctions will auction a very rare 1932 Buick Model 68-C Convertible Phaeton.
In 1932, the first year of the Model 68-C, Buick produced 366 for domestic and 16 for export.
Of the 366 domestic cars, only six are known to exist, and of those, this one and one other are the only two with a rear-mounted spare. All the others have spare tires in the front fender.
This car was originally two-tone gray with a black interior.
The car is equipped with Adjustable Ride Control, Wizard Control, Oil Temperature Control, Heater, Lighter, Adjustable Steering Wheel and Column, Clock, Pilot Ray Lights, and Grille Stone Guard.
This car was was originally discovered in a regional barn. The car then had a complete body-off frame-up restoration with nothing left untouched.
Work was performed by Dave's Interior and Restorations of Emmaus Pennsylvania, with paint by Randy Rutherford of Canadensis Body Shop, Canadensis Pennsylvania.
Would you like to know what it's like to drive one of these. Let's go!
