Thank you for putting that. My husband had to pull over many times coming home from work cuz he would be falling asleep and swerving. It's just like drinking and driving. My best friend was on sleeping meds when he drove home and mildly crashed into another car with a granny and little girl inside. He was just 20 when that happened but it haunted him for 3 years. He had his license taken away and was afraid to redo it for further 3 years. Before the accident he also was consuming drugs. No one was injured, but the accident really pulled him out of using drugs. Each time he drank something I was either picking him up or I drove home. He’s been driving a lot more careful now as well. The accident really really changed him, he felt so guilty…

Years ago, my dad, mom and I came upon a wrecked car that was on fire. There were two young men inside. He was able to pull one of them to safety but the other was hopelessly trapped and he couldn't save him. By the time emergency services arrived it was way to late. I still remember seeing my dad sitting beside our car with tears streaming down his face. It haunted him for the rest of his life. And, that young man's screams have haunted me.
