I'll almost always pickup these kinds of releases, helps preserve an important part of gaming history. I got to play it as a kid while on vacation at my cousin's house and absolutely loved it. While I eventually got a Sega Genesis along with "Hyperstone Heist" and its version of "Tournament Fighters," I always missed being able to play that fantastic NES game. Over 20 years later, I finally got my chance to play it again by getting a NES/SNES clone console and a used copy of the game (as well as the NES and SNES ports of the two arcade games). I still consider it to be one of the best NES games ever made and right up there with "Kirby's Adventure" as the two absolutely best looking NES games.

The Hyperstone Heist is a remix game with content from the original arcade game, Turtles 3 (NES) and Turtles in Time. And while i like the genesis very much, I cannot agree with your verdict. The soundtrack never sounded half as awesome as on the Super NES. Turtles in Time on SNES has such an iconic soundtrack that is even better than the arcade original.

Fall of the Foot Clan was the first TMNT game I ever heard of. I saw my friends playing it on their Gameboy and I told my parents I wanted a Turtles game as well. Since I only had a Gameboy back then and not a NES, they bought it for me... or rather, they bought Back from the Sewers. I was confused that the game was so different from the one my friends played, but as I played more of it, I grew to love it. It helped solidify my fondness of not only TMNT, but also Nintendo games as a whole.

This is the collection with the highest amount of input lag konami has released, triple the latency from the original games, turtles in time was 2 frames in snes, and is 6 on switch, but in ps5 running the ps4 game is 8 frames, wich is stupid high. Digital eclipse is a shitty company that just slaps bad emulators and a shitton of roms and calls it a day. M2 would have done a way better job.

I was a kid who was greatly disappointed by the first Ninja Turtles game, and then thrilled after seeing the arcade game, ported to NES, plus a couple extra levels! This was a great disappointment, followed by great excitement about a year later. I completely understand why this is still vivid to you, as the memory is still vivid to me. EDIT: I'd honestly rather play TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan for Gameboy than the first NES Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, mainly due to the lack of annoying (electric!!!) platform elements and unnecessary/awkward RPG. Fun fact: the Konami/Contra Code works in TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan, with the similar trick, you put in The Code in the start menu. I forgot what it does, but it's one memory I have from it. It's definitely for something that makes competing the game a bit easier. EDIT 2: Gamefaqs reminds us that The Konami Code can be used throughout the game, and when you do it you *replenish health*. I misspoke when I said that you use it on the start screen -- I blame Mandela Effect here, but regardless, I apologise for the mix up.

Cerebus is kind of a legendary indie comic that, while it was never licensed for cartoons and became kind of dour and up it's own ass 'serious' book, deserves a bit more than a sarchastic "Okay?". It was the pinnicale of indie comics pre 84 in the US.. that's why Eastman and Laird were fans.
@cthulhupthagn5771
Жыл бұрын
At least that's how it started out, then the longer he started working on the comic the more he started to unravel, with the comic degenerating into some chapters that were nothing more than handwritten essays about how much he didn't like women. The author kind of disappeared for a while, and has been enmeshed in some controversy related to his comments made with regards to dating Barely Legal women. For all that, I wouldn't mind reading the comic at least the first half of it, but it's not always the easiest thing to get hold of and quite frankly I don't know that I want to send this dude any money if he's selling new releases of it.
