This is fantastic, thanks guys, having never been to Teewah, this gives me a great selection of sites to choose from, assuming they are not all gone. Great resource, thanks you. Will be subscribing, for sure.

Great vid - I have been trying to decide where to book and had no context on the look of each zone so plucked zone 4 to just give it a crack. Others can use this vid to help pick there spot

Yes March flys love the colour green and blue as I have a green 80 series and on Fraser there was a white 76 series and they were not having any problems with the flys

So I understand that no camp fires are permitted with the risk of a breakaway fire in a NP. Question is, can you have an Ozpig or a similar enclosed fire to cook on?

Hi :) could anyone please tell me where the nearest water taps are to the northern camp teewah zones - to fill up a couple jerry cans? Non drinking water, just to wash up with etc. Is there any taps at freshwater day use? Or would the nearest servo be the only option? Thanks you to anyone who can answer
@chrispyscampingadventures

Yes the freshwater track there's a dump point and there's water there to fill jerry's cans it's across from the BBQ area and toilets.

So do you reckon zone 3 has some of the best spots out of all the zones . And were the march flies everywhere around all campsites , or just in some spots ? cheers.

I think all of the zones have good sites, zone 3 looked good. There are March flies everywhere this time of year / so yes at all sites. We just spray them as they come in. They aren’t huge in number.

So your thoughts? Are the zones a good thing or have the bogans stuffed up another good thing for everyone again??
@chrispyscampingadventures
3 жыл бұрын
Yes we think the zones are a good idea. Stops over crowding in some areas. Hopefully allocated sites will come at some point with fire rings.

@@chrispyscampingadventures Ahh bugger, i usually like to drive around for a bit and pick a campsite where there aren't any people. Can't really do that with a pre booked system. I take it those "fires prohibited" signs aren't a temporary thing then?
@chrispyscampingadventures

@@Spacegoat92 not sure but it’s still our favourite spot to camp - fire or no fire.

Yeah it’s all gone to shit really, I’ve been living in the north west coast WA for 17 years and moving back to Tewantin in a couple of months, things are so different over here, camp where you want and have a camp fire and bugger all people around if any on the beach. It’s gunna be a struggle to adhere to these regulations and BS… and the crowds.
