take the backplate (where the fan is) at the back off, and put one tiny drop of electronic oil on the shaft of the electrick motor - right at the bearing.. that will remove the noise..

Tefal has go a design problem that they should fix . I have an earlier model and it is very noisy from intermittent fan vibration . Its my second Tefal and the first one lasted longer and never made the vibration noise. I am piss off at corporation that cannot design their product right in the first place , They should do endurance test prior putting their product to market.

The main fan has a thin integrally molded ring that stabilizes the blades. This ring crumbles over time, allowing the blades to spread due to centrifugal force and they hit the housing, which causes the roar. I expect the blades will eventually break off. With less circulating air, the appliance might catch fire. There should be a separate metal ring instead.

Did you get to the bottom of what this was? Ours is making a similar (not quite as loud) noise and it's worrying me...

Hello Gene ist right, this ring breaks apart. I have refrubished mine withe a metal ring which I made out of a tin can 'sauerkraut' It nearly has the right dimensions, 95 mm and is of course light which reduces the balancing problem that may occur.

@@ihabahmed1132 Once you have it open - wich already is a pain in the ass - you need to get the bearing out. This means often to take out the shaft. That's done with a special hydraulic press or by hammering. But I'm not sure what exact motor you have. Can you please post a link to a picture of your motor?
