You're gunna love the 8th scale. So fast. Big jumps. The tracks are harder. Makes 10th scale seem a bit slower making it easier to drive imo. I love my 8th! Have fun!

Hi, nice video ! I’ve got also the Eb48.3 and with some upgrades I’m very happy. The .4 steering is very good but also the F/R diff gearing of.4 12t instead of 10t will really increase the control of the car. It becomes less nervous with this two upgrades. I think is better to have a 1900kv with the 44t spur gear when other brands have 46 to 48t. I changed also the geometry with more rear toe and other changes and now the rear is following the front. Before when I pulled the trigger strong, the rear was going everywhere but now the front pull the rear and the car does what I want. Huge improvement. I’ll be very happy to follow you. If you’ve got any questions, I’ll be happy to share with you. All the best !

Netcruzer RC TECH CARS just be careful if you change the 12t pinion of both F/R differential you need also to change the 40t spur with other part number. Also I found all the steering block on eBay for quite cheap then you need to do some settings with the new one to adapt it

I’ve been reading up a bit and the .3 has bigger hub bearings than .4 or 2.0, so I’ll likely keep that and just do some selective .4 upgrades over time. Steering geometry and maybe the hinge pin blocks.

I should have clarified that the tracks reopening are the outdoor off-road tracks. I’m thinking onroad won’t we back until almost a year away.

Congrats on the race team! I have been trying to research the eb48 2.0 also. I Was wondering what you found on the 2.0 that your not a fan of. I currently have the .4 and can’t decide if I want the new one.

hello, good video ! one question : is this buggy still performing with his chassis?
@netcruzer
3 жыл бұрын
Still performing? Yes. The EB48.3 and EB48.4 are narrow chassis, EB48 2.0 is newest model with a wider chassis. I’ve heard the 2.0 is easier to drive fast (more forgiving). I have a a new EB48 2.0 kit to build, I have not tried it yet. The older models are still great performers and competitive for racing.

Great RC haul! And congratulations on joining Team Bego. Looking forward to some race reports and videos with the EB48.3. Out of curiosity, what do you not like about the EB48 2.0?
@netcruzer
4 жыл бұрын
The EB48 2.0 remark was a bit off the cuff, I’m sure it’s great but it seems a bit decontented, such as no mud guards and a big hole in the RX box, but instead you get front aluminum steering knuckles and other better materials in some spots. I also don’t see the benefit of the wide chassis after a decade of saying thin chassis was preferred. But I’m no expert, just my initial option seeing it.

I just picked one of those up for $200, just getting into 8th scale so a used one fit the bill. What is a good beginner kv motor?
@netcruzer
4 жыл бұрын
You should put a 1900kv in a 4S 8th scale race car. I only had a 2250. It works but isn’t ideal it’s very fast and touchy.

Hi there. Looks like you are a tekno driver like me, I'm not a pro, it's just for fun. But if I buy a new rc car I want to be sure it's a beast, not like Traxxas out of the box. So now is my question to you, which car do you recommend? I already have a eb48.4 it's my best rc car ever. So now I'm thinking to buy the et48.3 but I'm guessing there will be a et48 2.0 soon. Do you now more about it? I already saw it driving on the track. For now it's gonna be an et 48.3 or 2.0 or maybe the arrma kraton exb. I want decent basher 😁 thanks and good luck the next race.. Stay save and have good holidays

The sensored motor doesn't always works fine with an other brand esc. I drive the xerun xr8+ with a xerun 1900kv motor in my truggy, sensored so I have turbo timing 😁 in my tekno I have a xerun 2250kv with the ezrun wp8sct 120amp, 16t pinion and it drives 50mph but it gets hot so I think the esc is to weak

Tekno ET48 2.0 won’t be available to Feb or March 2021. If you are looking for a Truggy basher in the mean time, I’d recommend a Kraton V5. Unless you plan on racing it or doing massive air bashes, you likely don’t need better electronics or EXB version.

@@netcruzer what's massive air? yeah im gonna jump it of course but nothing extreme like rc dude 81 or kev talbot. And yeah i wanna take it to some local tracks too but nothing serious.. We dont have a lot of (fine) tracks around here :( Im maybe thinking to put some ET arms and axles on my buggy, if they fit ofcourse, to make it a monster basher buggy. Thanks for the input :)
