From online manual, This thermostat ismarkedLOW/MED/HI.The 120°Ffactorysetposition(therecom- mended setting) is at the 5 o’clock position (Refer to Figure 11). The temperature settings range from approximately 110°F (LOW) to approx- imately 170°F (HI). The MED position results in approximate water tem- perature of 140° F. Mine is marked in parentheses as low equaling approximately 120, so this is not an accurate manual for all models

What is medium? What is high? If 3 o'clock is 110, 4'o'clock is 120, then at that rate, each hour on the clock = 10 degrees, 6 is 140, but is 140 really medium? Does this tank really go up to 170? 9 o'clock would be 170 if he's right that 4 o'clock is 120. Would this machine's longevity be affected if set to 170 with a mixing valve diluting the exiting temperature to 120? Can any mixing valve attain a 50 degree drop? From 2:10 to 2:45 = worst video ever. "4 o'clock, which is where it is" (while it clearly points to 7 o'clock). Can anyone explain that? Then: camera leaves the close-up and gives us an out-of-focus (on the part that matters) shot when he specifies what temp is where.

This is not helpful. You’re telling us the arrow is pointed at 4 o’clock but it’s clearly at 7 o’clock.

The user manual for Marathon water heaters says that temperature adjustments should primarily be made on the lower element, which conveniently lists specific temperatures on the dial. Please take this video down, it is not correct.

Are you not going to hit the reset and show how it works? Better to do it than just point to things with a screwdriver.
