When I got the news about Chris, this is the first place i came. One of the best songs ever made. It changed my life! Chris' voice came along when i needed it and has never failed me. I wish to send his fans and loved ones MY love. You will be missed, Chris.

My heart breaks today. We've lost one of the last fathers of grunge, not to mention a man who was beyond talented . Chris, you brought us so much wonderful music and lyrics in your short 52 years and helped to form a style of music and way of life that I hope never dies. You've inspired so many and will be missed eternally. No one sings like you anymore. Go forth and say hello to heaven, beautiful soul x

I like to compare it to David Bowie and Freddie Mercury coming together on Under Pressure. Two titans in their style of music and working so well together. Not outdoing one another just highlighting each other's strengths. The difference though is that this is before Chris and Eddie both blew up. Bowie and Freddie were already legends by the time they got together.

@@christineferlisi9606 I've bought that album at least three times. I keep wearing it out. It is still not only a great show to watch, but as far as I'm concerned, the greatest musical performance I've ever heard from anyone in any genre ever. Though opinions are subjective, it's just unbelievably beautiful from a man that life took too early. I used to have pair of jeans in high school that was plastered with Layne and AIC patches. AIC is my favorite group but th unplugged performance was just as good as can be done.

I know a lot of fans out there thinks that he committed suicide, but I am not believing that he tried to kill himself. I don't think Chester killed himself either.
