My second order is here! Let's see what I got.
I was worried after reading the reviews for the shipping company Temu uses in Australia. Seems a lot of packages never get delivered, especially in western states. Plus, the courier has twice now left my package in full view on the front porch, despite me deliberately placing a large plant pot there to hide the package behind. Really? At this point I'm more worried about my packages on the day of delivery than any other time, but that's probably just because I don't know anything about how they're handled before then. I'll try not to think about it.
I've been taking advantage of Temu's 30-day price adjustment a lot, although it doesn't credit the entire reduced price of each item. Probably because I use so many coupons, and that decreases how much they credit. I'm still not sure if price adjustments can be used multiple times for the same item. Most items seem to be blocked out after it is used, but I feel like I've had the price reduced on one item twice, once. A few things have gone up after the price adjustment (did not affect the credit I'd already received). It feels like prices are cheapest on weekends, but I could be wrong.
(The following may change, but works as of August 2024) I've worked out a strategy to get the coupons without spending too much, although it requires a bit of prep. Shopping prep, so it can be fun. What you do is, search for items you need or like that are very cheap, like $3 or less. Don't buy them. I use aquarium digital thermometers, sparkly glass prisms, and cable clips. Temu tracks what you search and look at (so don't make the mistake like me of showing other people all the silly stuff, or you'll never get rid of those terrifying tree faces). Then when the Temu app offers a coupon bundle in exchange for you buying 4-5 items from the page they display (ignore the time limit, after 10 minutes it extends to 30 minutes, then 24 hours), those items include cheap things you actually need or want (and if you don't use the coupons after all, no big deal, you bought those things on their own merit). After you buy them, you get a coupon bundle (5-12 coupons, depending on what the bundle $ total is). Most are nearly useless (I think they offered me five $10 off a $100 order vouchers once), but there will also be a few good ones around 30% off ($20 off $60 order, $15 off $40 order, $30 off $100 order, $50 off $150 order, etc.). One coupon per order, coupons expire in about 2 days (time varies). So fill your shopping cart with more expensive items, then wait until you get a coupon to buy them (can be difficult, I know).
This is how I'm able to get so many beautiful crystal spheres in such a short time. Temu does not sponsor me. I work minimum wage. I have car, phone, house, grocery, and utility bills to pay. Yet with Temu's low prices and coupons, I'm able to spend my "fun savings" on beautiful useless rich-people stuff. I hope other people can too, before Temu changes their strategy.
