That would be wonderful, but we shall have to stay isolated from the world to keep that situation - no more daily flights from Christchurch to Singapore, for example! You are doing a great job documenting the situation in your country.

@@achiral That's certainly a much more practical choice, with quite a wide wind range. It's not difficult to fly, and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it. If you want some help in how to assemble it, there's a video that I made on Into The Wind's KZitem channel.

That’s quite the collection of beautifully colored kites Jim, that Rainbow Totem is an eye magnet. The Moth and Butterfly are showy. I’m flying vicariously through you. Keep it up.

The Rainbow Totem is certainly one of the most attractive kites I have, but as it's a bit fiddly to assemble, it doesn't fly as often as it should.

Some of the kite producers are very happy to see me advertising their kites for them, David, but are far too mean to even give me a discount on their products! As you know, I made all of Into The Wind's videos of their products for them, and they did provide most of the kites (not all) as well as covering my costs of making the videos for their channel and website. Other manufacturers have done nothing at all, Premier being the prime example. They make a lot of good product, but do almost no promotion, and I know that my videos have sold many, many kites for them. My benefit has been zero.

Jim thank you for featuring some of your really big kites and point of reference for some of them. I would never have guessed that ROK was that big in the sky. The jelly fish was amazing although seeing it next to my all time favorite kite the ITW Alpine Delta Conyne made me even more in awe of its size. I hope things begin to ease up for your Country soon with the lockdowns so you can get back to flying and enjoying your beautiful beaches. Us Americans, being as stubborn as we are, have begun to revolt against the lockdowns with protests all of the country to open back up. I really hate it for some of the wonderful kite stores who depend on tourists season to survive because even if they are allowed to open back up, if the hotels, beaches and restaurants are closed they will not get the normal business they need. I ordered a New Tech Cody Pro from a store I have never bought from because they have been doing Facebook Live posts every day trying drum up business and saw it in one of the videos. They have also been selling facemasks so they have been allowed to remain open but of course there Is not tourists which their business needs.

Mark, the Cody Pro is OK, but the Aldershot version from New Tech is better: kzitem.info/news/bejne/2I-BvqSCm6uBhag . We are slightly more free now, and I've been flying this week. Stores like Picture Pretty Kites and Into The Wind are still open and happy to send out orders.

@@JimNicholls I am glad to hear they have loosened the restrictions up where you are at so you can start flying again. Kite flying is pretty much a naturally social distanced sport so I am sure you can stay safe and still put on your wonderful kite displays. I read a really negative review on the Cody Aldershot on Amazon, so I decided to stay away from that one. Klig's Kites in Myrtle Beach gave me a good price on the Cody Pro and free shipping. I am spoiled by free shipping on even small kite orders with funwithwind.com.

Sweet 16 is impressive, I've been eyeing one on eBay. It's from China, and have been hesitant to order from overseas. I finally took a chance and ordered a Wala Aerobe Xl and Delta Ghost flo Tail. They took 6 weeks but both arrived and I'm very impressed with them both.

The Sweet 16 is extremely well made, but the Chinese copies are much inferior. However, most kites from China represent reasonable value - you get what you pay for, basically.
