Not true. Honestly depends on when he started, his natural aptitude, and how interested he is in mastering the instrument/the joy he gets from playing it. I actually got to this video after seeing a ten year old from Louisiana who had been playing guitar for only two years, and can play better then myself (a twenty two year old, who got serious about playing guitar when he was seventeen). Hell, what's more is the fact that when I was seven I could play Mary had a Little Lamb with no problem, on both the piano and guitar. The point of this long drawn-out comment being that education has little to do with how well you can play an instrument (being taught to play an instrument can help greatly, but is no determining factor). Simple example, Bluegrass Music; which would be hard to listen to and claim no talent is involved.

I love how at the start the kids was clearly nervous, trying to think of what to say, kept looking at the crowd...and his comfort zone was clearly playing the guitar lol. I hope this kids lives a long life. Not being mean but Hendrix, Randy Rhodes, and many other greats like this always seem to want to leave us early.

He is absolutely adorable! So little but rocks so bloody hard. Parents should really, really get behind their children as far as making sure they have creative hobbies that might lead to wonderful careers and I don't mean sitting on their lazy bums playing video games all day. I hope this tot has a wonderful future in music. He's quite good. = )

Another fantastic kid. Also check out Shane Thomas-piano genius. Started composing amazing stuff after 3 weeks playing piano and got signed to E.M.I. music publishing aged 10.
