Soddy-Daisy residents remain split over the city's decision to raise property taxes.
The city made the decision after dealing with several factors over the last few years, including inflation.
The city now employs 17 firefighters and bought new fire engines.
The cost of parks, public works, and other infrastructure projects have also driven the need for more money.
