I had one back in the 90's when tennis partners were hard to find. I had it for about 4 plus years. After the first year I was only able to used it only 25% of the time because at the public park more people always came up to play with me. That's fine because I got all kinds of competition. This is a great machine I had no problems with any of the accessories, except the battery started not to charge fully after 2.5 years. My favorite accessory was the simulated overhead/The public parks tennis courts where I used to played didn't have any plug/s (that I noticed) for me to plug my machine.

Got this exact ball machine! Put the machine on a 40cm high stool or bench and you will see the machine is going to shoot the balls unbelievably well! I love mine so much.

Would it still be able to rotate ?
@attilagal6672
5 жыл бұрын
Of course, it’s not blocking the rotation feature at all but allows you to set 9-10 max shooting power! As soon as I put mine on a stool the whole world changed. The ball started coming exactly as a real player would hit the ball. You can use the bench or a chair. Please try and you will see it yourself. 👍 and for me the Babolat academy pressure less balls are the best ever balls for the machine.

You hold the forhand grip with both hands but end up hitting with one hand. Crazy staff 😂

thats how you hit a forehand

Huh? That's how you are meant to hit a forehand. Your non-dominant hand brings the racket back as part of the unit turn. The only thing this guy could improve is placing the non-dominant hand on the throat rather than the handle and separating slightly sooner.

Nice demo! I'm wondering how much more fun does the player mode add to the machine.. For example, does the advanced player mode always send balls per the same programmed sequence over and over, or does the mode actually send random shots thus less predictable and more fun to play with? Doesn't the tennis tutor plus machine without the player mode also send random shots as well?
@BeckersReviews
6 жыл бұрын
The player mode requires almost identical balls to work properly. I am not saying it a not fun but if you don’t have very similar balls. Most of the balls go out. That’s the biggest problem of ball machines. I think the advanced player mode is rather random. I didn’t catch a definite pattern. But in general ball machines are not easy machines. Please be aware that you ll most likey end up using the simple feed to work on your technique. Proper player simulation takes a lot of configuration. Esp. Advanced mode is shooting heavier balls so most them go out. I don’t want to open new balls and feed them in a machine. Also, the fuzzy yellow stuff causes clogging. So, you go an get a bucket of 50 pressureless balls. Some people hate the feeling of pressureless... if i had known what i know now i would not buy it...

Have you tried to use the lob mode? It shot balls higher when I put it on lob mode but it didn't really lob the ball.
@BeckersReviews
6 жыл бұрын
There is no dedicated lob mode, you need to do that manually
@reuelray
6 жыл бұрын
Becker's Reviews I guess manually would mean to sit something under the machine and have it tip upward. I thought about that if that's what you mean but I was wondering if the balls wouldn't roll out from the top
@BeckersReviews

No, you set yp the elevation to high
@reuelray

Becker's Reviews thanks man. I just got off the phone with them a few minutes ago and they told me to set it on underspin and slow down the speed. They also said to hit the elevation button and adjust it to how high I wanted the ball to go. I forgot to ask them how to make the balls go towards the Baseline service T instead of delivering balls outside of someone's strike zone. I noticed you had to manually move the machine because all of the balls were going towards your partner's backhand. I have been doing the same thing and we shouldn't have to do that, so when I get the machine back out there later this weekend or early next week and it keeps doing it, I'm going to call them on the spot to see if we can fix this. I will post my results. OBTW, I am using the 'plus player' model.
