Also if you want a challenge run I think a "No Nuclear Country" rule could be interesting for the early game. You're not allowed to get CPs in any country that has nukes at the start of the game in September 2022, you're not allowed to develop nukes in countries you own, and if you get nukes through whatever means you must disarm them within two months. This would force you to acquire a worthwhile army that can defend your possessions from the USA once its alliances start getting dismantled, or have countries under the inamovible nuclear umbrella of France and Russia.

@cl5258
Жыл бұрын
My tips for CP early (before spending research on it). 1: Reroll a couple starts. Councilors with Per, Cmd, Adm all boost CP by 1 point per Stat... IMO, don't put stats into anything else early unless you need Inv or Esp, which should be max 2/5 councilors. Quick learner councilors are op. 2. Find orgs that boost those stats. (Researches for more orgs are critical early imo, maybe even more valuable than rushing space... depends on AI research). Adm orgs are best since they allow more orgs up to cap. You can get orgs off other factions by trade or hostile takeover. *FOCUS ADM ORGS UNTIL 25 ADM* Like Perun i recommend trying to stay friendly with everyone except servants, so if you do use hostile takeover alot, a turned councilor among servants can give you a precise idea of who to target for the best orgs. (There are also huge benefits to sabotaging/stealing servants research) 3. Rush your councilor slots... with 5 councilors, you should get roughly 50 from per/adm, 50 from cmd/adm, 50 from your esp and inv councilors adm combined, and 30-50 from your flex pick by 2026ish (there is some rng on orgs) that totals to 180-200... From there you can slowly develop adm on councilors to replace adm orgs, or develop additional per/cmd... Note that a strong Sci value on a flex councilor is OP on permanent advise duty, especially if you own a superpower. 4. Fund the org acquisitions with: A: trades for shit orgs with other factions B: Spoils nations (Iraq, Ireland, Singapore, (probably others too) 5. You can go a fair bit over cp cap with the correct influence orgs... just beware of the opportunity cost of not using orgs that directly improve more valuable attributes (mining/eco/knowledge). This is worth it early imo when you are still sub 250-300 CP, but drastically falls off as the potential buffs from orgs apply to more and more CP. Final note: Personally I don't really like boost orgs unless they provide concrete percentage bonuses,ADM, Or for the first 1-2 years. The opportunity cost of building MC/boost in smaller nations is small compared to the orgs potentials buffs. TLDR: Orgs are insanely good. Use them to buff the CP stat in the following order ADM, PER/CMD. Fund them with spoils/trades. Find them with trades/takeovers

I had the american separatist states come out over a whole range of democratic ratings even though I released them all in the same week, and independent Siberia started at an exact 4.0 even though Russia had something better. "Waking up to a continued alien invasion was one thing, but when i saw that the US had fallen to waring factions i thought it might be coming close to the end. The country broke into three separate waring ideologies each trying to wrestle control and legitimacy from the other. The news was filled of coverage, riots in the streets, the army firing on civilians, armed militia overthrowing elected officials. It was like a movie. It felt like it would spell the end for the nation. When some sense of stability returned to the country, the people were tired, disgruntled, and yet more unified then before. With the old system burnt down in the months of civil war a new, fairer, and more just system had risen to take its place. Regarding more outposts on Mars: given the fissile income you have access to is looking quite limited, Argyre Planitia might be a wise target, and Tempe Terra to a lesser extent. Both the sites offer a decent amount in another resource as well

Stars above, the US went full on cyberpunk dystopia the second the aliens arrived. Once you got ALL of asia, and africa, can you help them out in recovering (or at least putting them out of their misery in a series of small states with reasonable priorities)? 3 Revolutions and a civil war in one year... Well, their democracy took a temporary dip, and then rose higher than ever. Wow, it sure would be material for a good novel.

i think it's normal event for america this revolution. i had the same thing in my academy playthrough right around my crackdown. everyone abandoned their European countries to get cp for USA and i could come in clean and sweep. sadly servants got executive in usa and started pondering everyone with armies, but few years late, after uniting EU and taking China a managed to purge them from there

It's unfortunate you haven't found any good fissile sources on Mars or Luna. Orion drives are fun.
