I love your videos! You have such a beautiful collection. It actually makes me quite jealous! The brancharium is such a big brain design for a terrarium because of how natural it looks. We haven't even seen it up close yet but I can already tell it's going to be wonderful. Also the moss within the exoterra nano tank looks amazing! Get well soon man

How do you find the spacer fabric works? I see it on your mounts. Thanks

I'm experimenting with it for different applications (behind/under plants, in front/over the roots, etc). For Elatostema I'm using Hygrolon as a "bag" around the substrate and it works great. The orchids are using a fabric similar to Hygrolon. The thicker stuff doesn't hold water as well as true Hygrolon. I'm still testing.

Thank you for taking the time to show us your beautiful plants. I've seen videos where you have a small fan attached to your clear bins. Any advice on how to replicate that? Thanks Again!

Yeah I have some fans in my glass tanks. I just wire them to the proper power supply based on their electric current needs (it's a complex topic I cannot give advice on). There are some products you can use which already come with a power supply to connect to the fan. I advise using something like that for safety and ease

That fern around the 8 minute mark is amazing, too bad you don't have an ID on it 😢

Love the terrariums, especially the brancharium, your collections make me envious. If I had space it would be cool to build biotope related terrariums for different sub-tropical Australian rainforests. It would be quite challenging but rewarding trying to trade/buy plants for a project like that. Keep up the good content :)

Thank you so much! Biotope sounds awesome! I am not sure how many Australian plants are available in USA. I might do some other biotope sometime

Why do you use a water distiller instead of an RO system? I had never heard of it

Water distiller is more convenient for me as far as set up, easier to maintain, doesn't produce waste water, also use it for medical purposes, and IMO better for emergencies

Wunderbar! Incredibly interesting video. Good luck with the fern spores. I grow hundreds of ferns from spore ranging from rare tree ferns to Strawberry ferns.

Thank you for the comment, I'm glad you liked it. That's really cool about the ferns you grow! This is one of the few times I'm deliberately attempting to grow from spore; I always get tons of different species popping up naturally in the substrate and plants that I grow. Do you grow any mini species?

@@AnotherWorldTerraria fern volunteers are great(free ferns) Always popping up in my shadehouse or terrariums. Because I have a garden in a subtropical part of South Africa I grow almost everything outside so size not a restriction so the terrariums are mostly for starting baby ferns or keeping ones that prefer high humidity but your videos are getting me interested in smaller filmy ferns. Tectaria and Microgramma probably the smallest I have currently.

@Crowbarfish08 I used cork bark. FYI, I am working on a video "How I made the brancharium" and hope to post it in the next few months if possible
