Man, this cab is a wreck, project for sure. We got it at a really low rate though, and it's a Samba De Amigo, something I've always wanted to get my hands on! Unfortunately, I have to clear my warehouse, and this is one of the cabs on the list to go, so I'll be passing on the project to someone else at-cost.
Purportedly, this worked when we got it, but as rough condition as it was in, we wanted to see the definition of "worked" before passing the project along. Surprisingly, yes, it does "work". It's not really playable in its state, but I'm surprised any of the maracas worked at all. It definitely needs some severe wiring work and a deeper look at them to get it all working. The monitor is pretty bad, but it's also viewable, if not terrible. It could do really well with a projector, like we intended to use for Manic Panic Ghosts.
This is a really neat and fun game, I really don't want to see the end of this one's life be in the trash. If nobody takes it, I will hang onto it and try my best to restore it back to a state functional enough for people to enjoy. I just hope that I'll be able to keep it long enough for that, space has become a serious issue for me and there may legitimately come a time that I can't hold onto it. Only time will tell.
