Terry Carter was a pioneering presence in TV (Sgt. Bilko, Combat! Julia) and was the nation's first Black newscaster (hired by Westinghouse broadcasting in 1965). In this segment, he discusses working on the films FOXY BROWN and ABBY, and discusses his role in helping broker the renaming of Patrick T. Campbell Junior High in Boston, to Martin Luther King Jr. High, in the days following King's assassination. He dispels the belief that Black Films don't make money, and offers his opinion of the era known as Blaxploitation in this exclusive clip. Mr. Carter's official website, www.terrycarter.net
