IN decades of off and on quilting, I've never seen this done or even heard of it. Brilliant!

I feel SO inept - I cannot make heads nor tails of this wrap - it just ends up being a jumbled mess!! I wonder if you might show the wrap from the “wrapper’s” perspective - not from the outer side?…. Or maybe I’m just hopeless!

It does take a bit of practicing Hilary. Did you see my complete guide to binding a quilt I did a short video showing the Terry twist up close and with a neutral background at the 11:32 point in the video. Ai hope that is easier for you to see.it is worth taking the time to learn this Hilary go and watch that other video and see if it is easier for you to see. Let me know

@@terryrowland398 I persevered and it worked! I was giving the whole thing an extra twist instead of laying it as you instructed... Once I figured it out it came together quickly and easily. I plunked the wrapped bundle in my lap while I was sewing the binding and never even had to think about what the binding was doing, It just kept feeding into my sewing without any problems. Thank you SO much for all your wonderful ideas and instruction. I also made the binding board and it is working like a dream - so slick and easy to iron miles of binding.

I absolutely cannot figure this out. I don't see how the twist starts....this video is too far away. On your other video, I still can't understand how it starts. My ADHD has my brain fried... just like trying to learn crochet! 😢

I am sorry I have not explained it well enough for you to get it joanne did you try and slow the KZitem video down so you can do it step by step as I am doing it or you will need to come for tea and I can show you how to do it.

Once you figure it out it is so fast to wind your binding without it twisting when you use it

Well, I can't figure it out. When I pull the end all I get is a tight "rope".

@@terryrowland398 Hi Terry, I have spent all weekend trying to figure out where I went wrong. And I finally did. I was doing everything correct, except, when I pulled the end I was pulling from the wrong side. At the end, after you wrap the tail around, you turn the bundle over and pull from what I would consider the bottom. I was pulling from the "top". Thank you for reaching out to me.
