I started listening to DA when I was 13, when Motorcycle was released. No other artist has influenced me as an artist like DA. This early stuff is also so excellent. I need to get my hands on some of the older albums. Can't wait to see them on tour this summer. I was pleasantly surprised to hear they were hitting the road.

I was looking at my vinyl album this morning to remind myself of the names of these songs. I needed one to share with a friend who just lost her grandfather. I pray this is the one that will touch her heart. Thank you. I've been a Daniel Amos fan since my sister got the vinyl Vox Humana. Every time I listen to it my favorite song changes. I think today it will be William Blake.

When I first started pastoring, I would listen to "A Briefing for the Ascent" before I began writing a funeral meditation. Great album.

Ooo William Blake is excellent. My favorite is the Incredible Shrinking Man. There are many times when I feel dwarfed by all these new advancements in the world. Like, touch-tone phones? : )

Is this song inspired in Lovecraft's tale : beyond of wall of Sleep?
