It is amazing!!! My congratulations. Great job. Do you have them wired to the ODB port, or have you connected to the CAN bus?

My Model 3 doesnt have an ODB port, so I am using a harness to add the M5STACK Atom CAN onto the CAN bus directly.

@@arekban correct, battery electric vehicles are not required to have OBD2 ports since they don't have an engine.

PlatformIO inside VS Code. Source code in video description.

@@BrettAdams Thank you, from what I understand, ATOM is only taking values via CAN and sending them to the Dial via ESP NOW? Did you try to use Dial's CAN(TWAI)? Just putting a CAN transceiver, then I wouldn't need the ATOM but I don't know how the CAN works on the esp32-S3, which is the microcontroller used in the Dial I want to do a CAN project with Dial and I would like to know how it works receiving CAN values

@@matheuscaltran1573 no I didn't because the dials don't have easy access to the CAN bus up there, at least not without ripping apart my dash. I already had access for another project below the rear air vents so I just rolled with that.
