Hi Richard, please could you do a video on headlight alignment specifically the model 3, although it’s extremely easy to adjust it’s not so easy to get right as even when I took it to Tesla to sort out it was still way too low. I know it shows how to measure in the manual but you have to have your car way too far back! As you have so many Tesla’s there you could go less far back and take an average measurement 🙏🏻🤞🏼

Nice, can you do the front mud flaps next? I’ve still got those in a bag 8 months after car collection 😊

Excellent! Great fun to watch. And the Allen Key is named after the Allen Company in the USA who used to supply them. Bit like "Hoover" and "Thermos" the trade name has become a generic one.

the Unbraco or Hex key is what we use in scandinavia , NONE use allen key here . Unbraco is the correct term for scandinavia

I don’t know why people want to be comedians when producing instructional videos. A review of the components would have been helpful. The interspersing of the extraneous videos was not comic relief, it was distracting. Sigh.

Although there’s nothing in the Tesla manual, I understand that you can’t use a trunk mounted bike rack on a Model 3. Does the trunk (aka lift-gate) bend or is it simply subject to scratching, or something else? For me, it would be easier than lifting a 30 pound bike onto the roof. In the US, Tesla won’t place a trailer hitch on a Model 3. Thanks. As a follow-up to this, I asked a Tesla service technician about this when he was out fixing another problem with my Model 3. He said a trunk mountain bike rack is perfectly safe. In fact, he said he preferred them to the roof mounted rack as he said he seen the roof glass crack at times with the latter. I used a Allen bike rack with only one bike on a recent road trip. No damage noted.YMMV.

Hi Richard and gang, I love your videos. Great content and style, entertaining too - I always learn something. An episode on roof rack fitting is a very good idea. That said, the long speeded up sections did my head in, a bit like motion sickness. Also the inclusion of bits of film clips to highlight something, like “don’t do that!”, is a big turn off, for me anyway. That sort of thing spoils the natural production style you usually adopt. Apologies for this mini rant but usually I am your number one fan. Keep up the good work and do please stick to your usual adorable style.

Holy cow, I recently bought a Roof Rack for the Model 3, but haven't assembled it. Thank's for sharing the video!

Had these on my Model 3. They look good, but if you're carrying anything other than a bicycle on the rack, they're pretty much worthless. Very flimsy and not enough span for for carrying a kayak.

Same procedure with the Y? We take a box on the roof of the Wife’s ICE to go skiing (we also take the bloomin kitchen sink!). Clearly the bars and box would destroy the range, but it would be worth considering suitability for long distance trips (17.5 hrs Norwich to Salzburg).

I'm really glad I have no need for a roof rack. I'd be waiting for the horrible crack of that glass roof.

I've seen a few of these on teslas and wondered how they went on... Now I know 😊. Not sure I like the idea of it being wedged under the glass

Interesting, but now I am sure it is a too big of a hassle to mount those roof bars so I would prefer to use my trailer (even though I need to empty it first) rather than mounting roof bars

I did a road trip from London to Gibraltar last year, and then again this year, except this year I had the roof bars and a bike mounted on the roof. Over the 3,000 miles of driving, there was no discernible difference in efficiency. Both trips I averaged around 240Wh/mile in a 2022 Model 3 RWD.
