If Tessa was Scott’s first kiss, then it’s safe to say Scott was Tessa’s first kiss! 😘

eilyn510 Yes, because she is two years younger than him, so she was 8. I can't believe her first kiss was before that.

I admire their dedication discipline and the determination to succeed in all their performances. For me figure skating is one of the most difficult sport that’s why I take my hats off to them. I’m sure they will remain friends for life. God bless them.

I have watched this so many times and this is the first time I’ve heard Tessa say “Thanks, I’m honoured” and Scott reply “It was awkward” when discussing his first kiss.

God, these hosts have been downwind of the U.S. too long. The tone of this show is very 'Murican with the incessant interrupting and talking over others. Congrats you two. You've now acted as badly as Americans, which is quite an achievement (from where I sit in Northern California). Shape up. There are many down here who use you for a role model. Sadly, not our ocher man-baby.

I think it's interesting that Scott Moir insinuates it wasn't a good idea for V&M to share the same coach (Marina Zueva) with their biggest competitors (Davis and White) and yet...V&M would later switch to coach Marie-France Debrueil, the SAME coach as their newest big competitors, Papadakis and Cizeron. I don't think that was an accident. I think V&M liked to keep tabs on what their biggest competitor dance team was doing and so signed on with the same coach again. It's disingenuous of Scott Moir to complain about V&M having to share a coach with their biggest competitors and then put themselves in that same situation again.

I highly doubt they switched coaches just to keep tabs on them. Patrice even said that he would be happy to train them even before P/C was in their group. Also not much to keep tabs on anyway they were the Olympics champions.

@@aly8950 There was a LOT to keep tabs on for V&M. They did NOT handle losing the 2014 Olympics well at all. By the 16-17 season, they were more than a little intent on going back for the 2018 Olympics, and in their two-year absence, P&C were by far the top dance team. Why on earth wouldn't they want to keep tabs on their biggest competitors, how they're training and progressing, what their programs are like, the elements included, costumes, etc.? It's the old strategy of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. It's more than coincidental that V&M took on the coaches of their #1 competitor team TWICE in their career, something I've never seen done by any other dance team, let alone one time, but two.
