Man, i thought this song was really good after listening to it a couple times. But trying to play it myself on a 7-string shows me, just how much more there is to that song. The way, they play on such a technical, rhythmical level is just something else. An than the tones... Everything is fitting so perfectly... This my friends, is really something else and to me it is pure art! And of course, it is incredibly hard to learn only that song. And that is just ONE of so many great Tesseract songs. I hope, they keep coming with such great music, because it really is something special to me. And now excuse me, while I´m tryin to not give up learning this mother****** . Cheers

I know what you mean. Drums is not at all behind. When listening to the songs you can already feel the difficulty and the awesomeness… but when I sit on my drum kit to play…. I get blown away about every single detail. Although programmed drums… when you watch Jay playing through the songs… you simply stop and admire. So flipping fantastic.

Steven Berkowitz what? No! That's not Djent style! I know Dj0nt bands like AAL, Periphery, TesseracT and others slap and thump, but many funk guitarists do it too. Also, neither Fredrick Thordendal nor Mårten Hagström are credited with the invention of the guitar slap or thump, it came up after funk bass players like Bootsy Collins wanted to incorporate more percussive elements in their playing. It was just picked up on the guitar. Tosin Abasi from Animals as Leaders is quite well known for using and somewhat popularising this technique on a guitar. P.s, it's Meshuggah, not Messhugah
