I'm partial to the li'l baby birds.I I love this '55!! I built one I got in 89, a basket case, but everything was there, and it was a California car out of the high desert of Taft near Edward's Air base. I added a suspension upgrade to mine after all the work was completed mechanical, drive train , body and paint. Larry's Thunderbird had the upgrade package that made my daily driver complete. Its a rear 2" stabilizer that mounts and goes OVER top of differential, cars too low for conventional mount. Also in the kit new front end bushings. One other thing I finally had to do to make the steering perfect was change the steering wheel out for a smaller one. For some reason the large 17"wheel was designed for a car without power steering. More power of turning wiyh the leverage afforded with larger steering wheel, but with power steering, I found that the horn ring diameter was nearly perfect . I had a shop, in Texas to resize my wheel to 15", and made it perfect., also added the electronics to ditch the points, and added a adapter for the oil filter. The original was a can with a sock filter. Those were hard to find. Lastly I went with stainless steel dual pipes and a set of golden Turbo mufflers. DITCHED THE WIDE WHITES and roadster wires for a aluminium 10 spoke and added black walls. I had a daily driver that didn't look dated.. I drove my car to every show, as other birds were being tailored in, and nearly always took home a trophy 1st, 2n, or 3rd. Best convertible etc. . I drove mine from Texas to Missouri 3 times,, and a trip from Missouri to Florida . Car ran flawlessly, and the Golden turbos sound sweet once they get hot. That 312 of mine had head work , hardened valve seats double valve springs mild cam upgrade. I could set it on 80 and run it all day long . Never got a speeding ticket in a 55 mph mandated world of speed cops toting radar guns.. I hope some of this info might be used as a buyer of your li'l Bird might want to improve it with upgrades. Mine handled like it was on rails after the rear stabilizer, shocks and new bushings. Thanks you for the cruise in the 55. That's one sweet ride. I drove mine from 1989 as I was working on it...completed in '93, and in 2014 it got its last trophy . A 25 year love affair♥️👍Thanks Maple Motors for your service.

Like the car. BUT the color of the interior is not quite going with the great blue body color. The Studebaker is a real cool rod.

You are right. The blue body is beautiful but the interior color clashes with it.

The color doesn't show well in the video. It's actually a 2002 tbird color. It's definitely more aqua in person.

Didn't mention the headers, electric cooling fan, dual master cylinder (disc brakes?), modern brake booster, aftermarket shifter, battery relocated to the trunk. All OK with me, but maybe not for the purist.
