Super informative, appreciate the video, I've heard people complain about the sound of the pump at 100% when not using PWM but that was barely anything, going to run it at 100% in my build too, would much rather have the better performance. I won a 3080 in the newegg shuffle that has an integrated waterblock and this is my first time ever doing liquid cooling, got the EKWB 360mm classic kit and jumping straight into cooling both the CPU and GPU!

Make sure you're not mixing metals. Ensure your kit that you got is copper or nickel plated copper to go along with your copper GPU. If you mix metals you will destroy your loop and ruin your hardware.

Thanks for this. Just getting into liquid cooling and it has to be one of the most painful, hard to find, deal with computer aspects I've found. Products? All over the map. Parts? All over the map. Costs? All over the map. Methods? Hundreds. Said another way, there are 1000 different paths to take on this cooling solution and I've wanted to sell my parts because it seems more hassle than it's worth. Great content. Subbed I'm back to water cooling after several years thanks to a used 3090 I bought; need the vram for VR. I started back in the late 90's using car radiators, Deltas, aquarium pumps, etc. but that's the first time I saw this method for testing the pump. Simply brilliant! I kinda know the answer but I'll ask anyway. I bought a Barrow rad (doing 3x360) and I'm at day three flushing that thing with distilled water and vinegar and after 15 liters it's still a filthy mess. I'm really tempted to use my pump to flush that thing. Pump is a Lowara D5 and I'll clean it real good after it. Do you think it's safe? Returning the rad is virtually impossible since I bought it from Aliexpress. Thanks in advance and congrats again for the great content.

1st adjust your fan curve while running a CPU and then a GPU benchmark, like Blender Benchmark. Find a happy medium between performance and noise. Make sure your pump is at 100% as well. Those are slim rads for those components by the way so you may also consider getting thicker ones around 38mm.

First time Hard line builder. Using the Thermaltake C360 DDC Cooling kit. Need your expertise if you can check out below the link. www.thermaltakeusa.com/thermaltake-pacific-c360-ddc-hard-tube-water-cooling-kit.html I know that ive been reading testing the system beforehand and I figured since watching you on TT, that id follow up here that you had a quick tutorial, I've seen people comment on how there could be shavings potentially in the radiator. Having been a mechanic and I know about cooling and radiator systems, should I add the radiator in the simple loop for testing with additional soft line tubing and extra fittings? Is it equally optimal to test the radiator with the pump outside the system? Logic tells me yes, but I'm making sure I take the steps to do it right, the first time. Love the content sir. Learned a lot and am applying it to my second PC build. It's now your fault im stuck on EKWB and their products but this build is already running me $4000 so, I've run out of room in my budget. Thermal take will have to do.
