I was curious whether or not using a universal joint when torquing a fastener would affect the torque actually applied at the fastener (as opposed to at the torque wrench). A few quick tests answered that question.
I'm not claiming this test is perfect - I am physically performing the tests. If you were looking for "real" data, you would want to take the human element out of it. However, for the purposes of answering my original question, I think this is good enough.
