Kite: Core XR5 lw (light wind)
Location: Boca Grandi, Aruba
Wind: On-Shore 13 knots
Camera: GoPro 6, set to 2.7k & 60fps
Board: Core Fusion 3, 135cm
My first impressions:
-Very impressed with the new 15m from core. Plenty of power in light wind, but remains solid on stronger days. The bar pressure and turning speed are a bit higher than the previous versions - possibly the best freeride 15m I have tested.
-The GoPro 6, I've not been so impressed with. They've managed to boast some big specs, but it's pretty obvious the camera is struggling with these. For example, it can shoot 4k 60fps, but without stabilisation; and it can shoot 2.7k 120, but it shuts off after a short time (presumably due to overheating). The camera also crashes a lot, and is slow to access files (even compared to my 2 year old sony camera). Clearly the hardward in the GoPro 6 is JUST able to cope with the video capabilities GoPro are boasting. I was expecting more from it.
