In this video I show off and use some equipment I bought off the internet. Sorry it isn't more organized, but this was a spur of the moment idea.
To record I used an iPhone 12 Pro Max, at 4k 60fps.
The phone mount is an Ulanzi ST-06 Hotshoe phone clip.
The light is an LED Ulanzi VL-49.
The Tripod is Torjim 60" Camera Tripod.
All in all this equipment is pretty good. The LED light actually last much longer when it is fully charged, via USB C. It has a very fully range of color and whites, though it's definitely meant for much closer use. It has three cold shoe mounts, and one hot shoe. It also doesn't get too hot after prolonged use.
The phone mount feels a little cheap but it help everything in place. I still have some anxiety over how tight it holds my phone. At times it feels like the clamp might loosen, or wear out after multiple uses. I also haven't figured out how to rotate it, so for the time, it's only for landscape shots. With the phone and light attached, it does tend to jiggle when moved.
The tripod feels sturdy for the price, but the levers and screws feel a little cheap too. I'm afraid to over tighten, risking breaking any of the plastic components. I like that the legs have feet that swivel, so for indoor use, it will stay flater. speaking of which, it also has a level.
The iPhone is an iPhone. I'm not here to review it, but like I said in the video if I could record in 3D, I would. That was the biggest selling point for me was the addition of a LiDar scanner and the ability to do object capture. So far, that feature works great. I'm also enjoying the camera quality.
