UPDATE on Astropad - August 2022 - I've made a new video covering just Astropad which has released its official Windows version now: kzitem.info/news/bejne/25-suY5_cYKmd4o

5:34 - EasyCanvas test

10:40 - Conclusion
In this video, I do a quick test of my iPad Pro with Astropad for Windows and EasyCanvas Pro. As much as I enjoy doing digital art in Procreate, it's great that there is this option to hook up the iPad to my laptop and do some painting in Photoshop with it.
If you want to test it out yourself:
Try Astropad for Windows and Mac: astropad.com/product/studio/
EasyCanvas Pro: www.easynlight.com/en/easycanvas/
(Make sure you check you get the right version for your setup; EasyCanvas has regular and Pro options)
I'm using the 2020 iPad Pro for this but it should work with the base iPad, Air, and Mini as well. You can find my written review of the iPad Pro 2020 here: drawyourweapon.com/ipad-pro-2020-review-an-excellent-tablet-for-digital-illustration/
If you are thinking about getting a standalone tablet like a Galaxy Tab or iPad, it's nice knowing that you have this added ability to use it as a regular pen display with your computer. Of course, your screen size may be somewhat limiting though.
