Testing environment: Snow was waist deep and heavy after a zero temperature day. We drove two persons on top for 1,5h, through woods and lakes, climbing on mountain sides (not too steep).
A little too much weight for shock absorbers on fast speeds, as the going gets quite jumpy on bumpy trails. But overall quite good climb ability, although driver was soking wet, since it was a good exercise.
If snow is heavy and wet, the snowmobile will sink pretty deep. 4-stroke is smooth and powerful though.
Acceleration is enough for anyone, but does not compare for the top speed monsters. Accelerates to 100 km/h easily in mere seconds.
Snowmobile is very big and wide and thus pretty heavy to operate for a small framed person, especially if the sled sinks into deep snow, it might be near impossible for a weaker person get it free again. Sled will not fit through the narrowest trails between trees and as the sled is quite big, if snow is heavy, the sled will push towards downhill and you might hit a tree. Break and use acrobatic skills before-hand to avoid hitting trees or stumps.
The size brings a lot of comfort though, as sitting in the back for example is enjoyable with soft saddle and good back support. Hand grips for the second person are excellent wich are heated also.
Overall a nice experience.
