If u dont want ya car to cut power in the first 2 gears, put it in track, tap traction 2x then go down to race, go into launch control on the dash and customize the launch rpm to 3300 and the slip target to 13% ...see how that works

@@swatdoggythe zl1 only allow 14% slip I got mine on 11.4% at sea level at 3400 rpm on a nitto nt01 and pull 0-60 3.3 draggy no lift shifting and 11.66 1/4 mile on the streets. Wr have some decent streets out here in Cali so it's different for everyone due to altitude, tires, driver , mods etc ... either way good to see him having fun. Hopefully he does go to the ptm modes and uses the cars full potential because sport mode sucks lol 😂

ZT, loving your videos man! I have a 2017 ZL1 A10 and have been thinking of making a small KZitem channel as well. I just don't know how to edit videos and blur stuff out so I gotta KZitem those videos lol. I don't have to worry about going to Mexico because I live in Germany and get to go full out on the Autobahn :) I also want to buy a Dragy but kept procrastinating, until today! I've had my car up to 192 mph and it was still going but I was coming up on traffic. I get the luxury or running against all the top German sports cars and I can tell you, the ZL1 is a BEAST! Keep up the good work 👏

I’m jealous! Driving the Autobahn is a DREAM!! YouTubing how to edit is definitely the best way to learn, that’s what I did. You already have a cool story by having a top American sports car in German. Preciate your support from across the water!

@@ZtZoomin I'm originally from Detroit but moved here in 2006. Had a 2017 2SS because you couldn't get the ZL1 here until about 2 years ago. Don't be jealous, driving 150 mph + everyday gets expensive! I spent over $2,000 in fuel in May alone! And I only use the car on nice days 🤣

If I recall, 1st gear is good through about 60. IF you were to get serious, you might find some time just staying in 1st longer. I bet, with those temperatures outside, your car will pulling IAT-timing, too. Probably at least 6* of advance. That will cost power and time, too. Good stuff. Liking the videos.

Haha gotta love the lower temps! Denser air allows the car to pull in more air. You should get a dragy to see what kinda times that thing will run! I think there’s some apps in the App Store that aren’t quite as accurate I need to get some slicks like you to help with the launches. I definitely could use more seat time to get the launches down too.

Yeah swapping wheels is def a hassle. Heat is off and on right now. Sept and oct kinda be like that. 90 one day, 78 the next. Dragy is like $150.

Gotta hit all the parameters just right. I think you have to be above 5,000 rpm and WOT. Make sure you keep the gas pedal to the floor, if you let up on the gas in the slightest bit it won’t work. Be careful and good luck
